Star Wars Galactic Defense, Star Wars Commander, The Old Republic, & Mini-LOA
Today events began in both Star Wars Galactic Defense and Star Wars Commander, details for competitions for both of these are included. Also SWTOR has a free pet available if you log in before May 4th and some cool exp perks coming soon.
Star Wars Commander
In Star Wars Commander another Galactic War: Tournament began and will be running for the next 4 days. This is another great opportunity to earn Event Points to pick up upgrades for those special units. The associated competition and its details are already live.
Star Wars Galactic Defense
Star Wars Galactic Defense began the A Rebellion is Born event. The reward champion for this event is the Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels! He has an awesome special where he throws his lightsaber around him dealing damage. I'm pretty excited about this guy. This is another Arena style event. The Elite Champions for this event are Grand Moff Tarkin (Dark Side Carbonite Pod) and Ezra Bridge (Light Side Carbonite Pod), just like previous events they will have a 5x boost to damage and health. Competition is live.
Star Wars The Old Republic
There is a special pet available for all Star Wars The Old Republic players who log in before May 4th. The M4-1S Astromech Droid. As long as you've logged into the game between April 4th and May 4th you'll receive this little guy to add to your collection, make sure to give him an oil bath. Also, TOR has announced a new Epic Story Experience Boost which appears to be modeled after the 12X Class Mission exp boost that went on back in November. Details are hazy right now, but it seems this option will be able to be toggled on and will become available after May 4th through this fall. Fist Mini-LOA
I'm flying out of town tomorrow at a ludicrously early time in the morning to go to a family member's wedding. I'll be away through Sunday, and once I get back will be deep diving into Destiny Iron Banner to try to make up for lost time and get to an appropriate Rank to earn some sweet gear before it ends Monday night. So between now and Tuesday evening I will be scarce, but still available on Telegram and by email. Hit up Ernordeth for any pressing issues that need resolution before I return.

Uhm a question, how do you do this Arena stuff? I mean i run out of time all the time at around 1000 points. Is there some trick to doing this?
Hope for the yellow time boost buffs. I'm pretty sure they're random though.
Make sure if you get that sudden death debug on a champion that you pick up any of the buffs so it drops off and they don't die.
I think that's about it really.
Ya, I'm really underwhelmed by the Arena style games. You can literally just jump into the game and then look away for a few minutes. You get points regardless of how "well" you do, so it's kinda just been a "start, look at tv, collect rewards" sequence for me mostly.
But ya, it's entirely random how long each game will last, which is also quite frustrating, as you can use all your point buffs in a round where you only get one or two time boosts.
