Since the release of The Force Awakens, the club's general policy has been to ban all spoiler-y discussion of new Star Wars movies (also, Game of Thrones) for a period of time after release so that everyone has a reasonable chance to enjoy them without having to worry about avoiding DB chats or mailing lists.
We will be doing the same for The Mandalorian, the first episode of which comes out one week from today. Episodes will be released more or less on a weekly basis rather than all at once. Therefore, each episode will have a one week spoiler ban across all DB communications including official and clan telegram chats, discord, and mailing lists.
As always, the DB Spoiler Chat will be available for people who want to talk about the show and aren't afraid of spoilers! Ask for an invite on Telegram.
The goal of this policy is to give people a few days to catch up each week while still allowing time to chat about the show while the season is ongoing. After all, watching an episode of TV is usually easier for people to fit into their schedules than a two-plus hour film.
A similar ban will be in place in December for Rise of Skywalker. More details to come on that as the premiere approaches.

Only a week, too short IMO, especially for the binge crowd or those like me who like to stack up Episodes
Seems reasonable IMHO, any longer and the internet itself will find you with a spoiler anyway. Looking forward to seeing it!
