The seasons change...

Over the past few weeks, there has been a series of discussions regarding the direction of the club. After some significant deliberation, the conclusion is that the position of Deputy Grand Master and eventually Grand Master will go in a different direction. Raken has been a wonderful contributor to the Brotherhood for almost ten years now and there are many accomplishments to his resume. We have him to thank for writing GJW VIII and IX almost singlehandedly, helping guide our fictional story through the Crusade, and helping build the stellar team we now have on the Dark Council and Summit. We are a better place because of his efforts, and I wanted to sincerely thank him for all that he's done. I wish him the best of luck in real life, and we all look forward to working with him again in the future.

The position of Deputy Grand Master is not a very easy one to fill. It requires a lot of work, a lot of time, and a keen ability to manage very different personalities. On the DC, there are few that are as active, or as prepared to do this position justice as Pravus. A former Grand Master himself, Pravus knows what the position entails and has demonstrated a desire to step up his responsibilities over the past several months, having been a driving force behind the Dark Crusade's background and grading process. His work as Voice has been thorough, vast, and impressive.

With Pravus leaving Voice for Deputy Grand Master, we are in need of someone else to take over the reins of that Dark Council position. The duties are broad, and you will be working directly with Pravus and me on the Great Jedi War. As this is a time critical project, we need to get the new Voice read in on the project as soon as possible, so we will be abbreviating the application process down to 48 hours. If you are interested in the position, send your application to Pravus and me before 2359 EST September 4th, 2014.

Good luck Pravus and good luck to the new VOICE! May The Force Be With You All!

Thanks for your stellar service Raken! I'd wish Sarin good luck, but he knows what he is doing. :P

Thank you for the hard work you've put in, Raken!

Great job Raken! Congrats Major Payne errr Pravus!

Thanks Raken, rock on, Sarin, and all the best to the new Voice!

Thanks Raken and Sarin!

Thank you for your excellent efforts Raken, you've done a tremendous job. Congratulations Sarin, I know you'll continue to do great things as DGM.

Thank you, Raken - you've been an awesome inspiration as long as I've been here.

Thank you for all of your hard work and steadfast resolve for a brighter future, Raken.

Thank you Raken for your loyal sevice all these years.

Congrats Pravus on new position

wonders if Pravus is making a move for the head seat, like Sarin once held :P

Thanks for your service, Raken -- you never stopped fighting for progress, even when we didn't all define progress the same way, and I have nothing but respect for that. Thank you.

Sarin, good luck. Somehow, I feel like this isn't the kind of job that gets any easier the second time around.

Rak-city:

Thanks for everything you've done for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and for the sacrifices you've made despite your unique life outside of the club. Thank you for working with me the past few years as I came into my own as a unit leader. I'm honored to have had you as a member as well when I was first starting out as a Proconsul. I appreciate the talks we've had, and I'm glad that I got to work with you and know you a bit beyond just nicknames on IRC. I appreciate your moves to help increase the transparency of the Vendetta process, and your openness to hearing me ramble on about my own ideas for how things should work.

So, thank you again for the time and commitment you've given the Brotherhood. You've always got a place in Arcona should you want to join us with some face-bashing.

Sarin: So much for that retirement plan :P. It's been a privilege working for you as Voice, and I hope to continue that going forward as you take on the mantle of DGM.

Raken, thank you for all of your hard work to bring such great club wide events for us to enjoy and have fun with, and for all you have done to further us as a whole. I wish the best of luck to you.

Sarin your work as voice has been amazing and I for one cannot see how you have had the time to do all that you do. I look forward to the things to come.

Well done Raken, thank you for your hard work. Hope you'll not be a stranger!

Sarin, can't really think of anything motivational to say here aside from: Do as you always do.

Good job both of ya! You're both great assets to the club.

Raken, I'm sorry to see you go. I'm grateful for your effort and the work you've put in. Working with you was always easy and focused with clear needs and clear responses. You've given so much to this club over the year. Thank you, and may your future endeavors bring you many good returns.

Pravus, into the breach once more, eh? I'd say good luck, but I don't think you need it.

Like others have said, you've done so many great things over the years Raken that it's impossible to list them all and do it justice. One thing that I think will always be remembered, though, will be your fictional work (which itself is too long to list!). Even if GJW stories come and go, things like your work on the Antei System have become such a cornerstone of the club's identity today that you'll never be forgotten-- and that's not something that can often be said.

As for this Pravus DGM guy? I've got this strange sense of deja vu, but can't figure it out. :P

Raken, you've been an exceptional member of this club since you joined plagueis all of those years ago. It's been a real pleasure working with you throughout my DJB career and I hope to do so again in the future.

Sarin, congratulations!

Thank you, Raken! Good luck, Sarin!

Thanks for your service Raken, and for being friendly and approachable.

Thank you for all your hard work over the last two years Raken. You've done alot of good for the Club man. Don't be a stranger :)

Pravus, back in black?

Well done my friend, well done.

Good luck to all!
