DB:CCG Set 21 & Alternative Images

First off, I really need some graphics to make these announcements pop; if anyone is interested.

Set 21 Release

More importantly, I've completed a merge/update with the origin Player Committee's recent release of Set 21. You can read about Set 21 here from the Player Committee's site. It introduces a lot of Clone War theme cards and new images for several cards.

Admin Functions

As we've been up and running I've been learning more about the Admin functions within GEMP and learned about the ability to create alternative images for cards. These cards function the same as their original card that's available to everyone but contain a unique image and must be granted by the admin.

This creates an opportunity to issue unique awards for people who participate in DB:CCG competitions.

Coins in DB:CCG

You may have noticed a Merchant and gold/silver icons in the lower right. The site automatically awards you 5 gold coins each week you login. Through the Admin portal we can grant additional coins for competitions. These are utilized to purchase cards.

You may then trade in 4 cards to receive a foil version of that card. Alternatively, we can grant foil versions of cards as part of competitions.

First Alternative Image Card

You've waited long enough, here is the first Alt. Image card within DB:CCG.

Look for new opportunities soon to earn this card and competitions related to DB:CCG. There were some questions following the original release of DB:CCG and the upcoming GJW.

DB:CCG will not be required within the upcoming GJW as it was developed and released to late in the planning to be incorporated.
