Fist Supplemental 11.3: Wiki and RoC Update

Members of the Dark Brotherhood-

After a lot of consideration and consultation with the DC, leaders, and gamers of this club, I have (with Pravus’ approval) eliminated the separation between Tier 1 and Tier 2 Games. This restriction narrowed the club’s ability to provide depth in our large-scale events, and was in all honesty a relic of the past that stifled our growth as a gaming community.

You can find the new page listing all currently supported games here.

Additionally, I have removed the T1 and T2 restrictions from the Rites of Combat. The updated Rites no longer require the use of a T1 Game for Vendettas and GJW events. You may view the current ROC here.

In the coming weeks, i am going to craft a wiki article that describes the approval process for games. I receive at least four to five PMs a day telling me about some new game I have to support right now, because it will be the greatest thing ever. I’ve said it in Telegram quite a few times: not all games that people enjoy are going to be supported. Games will go through a very clear and detailed review process before I am willing to present a final proposal to the Grand Master or Deputy Grand Master.

The key to the approval process is overall interest and sustainability of a game. Adding a game just to have it die off after a couple months is a waste of time and effort for myself and my staff. It also leads to disappointment for the people who enjoyed getting rewards for a game they like to play because people simply quit playing it right away.

In the meantime, read through the process I go through on this report. I will clarify certain thresholds in the wiki article, specifically what constitutes the right level of interest.

More to follow in the coming weeks.

This is motivating on the gaming end of the club. Interested to see how this moves forward.

Love it!

I like this more than I can put into words. Now I need to start looking into the old Tier 2 games so I can start finding gaming times with folks.

Neat

Wiki updates and system updates in general please me. Good stuff, team Fist!
