Latest Info from the SWTOR Cantina tour

Here is the latest info from the Cantina tour that just wrapped up in Boston. Give it a look here http://dulfy.net/2014/04/12/swtor-boston-cantina-tour-flashdrive-files/

Also mentioned is a small blurb about the guild ships

First, strongholds looks more appealing now. Sure, cartel coins will be involved, but it sounds like you can also buy things with in-game credits. I like the trophy system for ops.

Second, Selkath NPCs + Underwater Adventure Armor = new underwater storyline? New planet? shrug

One of my favorite parts of Guild Wars 2 is the underwater game mechanics. It'd be cool to incorporate a new type of terrain. This all sounds pretty great, though. Worth my subscription, at least!

Oh, please be as janky as wow's underwater area... that's what I have always wanted in tor... Seriously though, once you are magically able to breath underwater and you stick to the ground, it's just any other land based area with a water effect on the camera

I'm just hoping that once they add guild ships, that some time in the future they add support for PVP.... how good would it be to take a flag ship into combat against another guild, launch our fighters and space combat PVP with the goal of disabling other flag ship.... this would be awesome

TOR didn't even launch with a swimming mechanic. I don't know if they implemented anything, but it used to be if your head went under water in a river or lake, you just died.

Based on what I've seen, Guild Wars does underwater pretty well. There's no walking, you actively swim, so it essentially adds another axis of movement. Of course, I think combat in GW2 is better done than SWTOR.

And it sounds like Armags is describing Eve? Maybe? lol
