Recently the Fist Staff approached each Consul or Independant House Quaestor and requested an appointment of someone from within their unit to serve as a Representative within TOR for that unit. Thus the Guild Rank "Unit Representative" was born.
The TOR Wiki has been updated with some rules on the usage of the Guild Bank. They basically boil down to don't remove items from the Bank to sell on the GTN or to Vendors for credits on your character and try to replace items you remove to use as upgrades as you continue playing. Pretty standard stuff.
This was done in order to help members get invites to the TOR Guild in a more timely manner. Unit Representatives will work a bit differently than a normal Officer in the Guild, as the individuals who fill these positions have been appointed directly by each Unit's Leader. There will only be 1 person appointed to this rank from each Unit.
Unit's can change their Representative at any time, just let the Fist Staff know. Likewise, if we don't see a Representative on for a while (14 days or so) we'll reach out to Unit Leadership and let them know. If they'd prefer to keep their Representative there that's fine, maybe that person only logs in to get members invites and doesn't really play TOR alot.
Unit Representatives will have the ability to Invite people to the Guild, create Members Notes (which contain Dossier Numbers and Names), and set a member's in game Rank.
