In an effort to get results out as soon as possible, we graded everything from week two in order to turn things around and get them to you. Participation across the board was much better in week two, jumping from 43 total entries in week one to 67 entries in week two. Ajunta Pall saw an 8 entry increase while Karness Muur increased by 16. So, let’s break down the events:

Where’s Watto? (12 entries)

  • 1st: Tra'an Reith di Plagia
  • 2nd: Abadeer Taasii
  • 3rd: Malice

Fiction (7 entries)

  • 1st: Laren Uscot
  • 2nd: Taranae Rhode
  • 3rd: Abadeer Taasii

Crossword (10 entries)

  • 1st: Laren Uscot
  • 2nd: Misium
  • 3rd: Bal Demona

Hunt the di Plagia (11 entries)

  • 1st: Kelly Mendes
  • 2nd: Laren Uscot
  • 3rd: Dacien Victae di Plagia

Flash Gaming (11 entries)

  • 1st: Kul'tak Drol
  • 2nd: Arden Karn di Plagia
  • 3rd: Laren Uscot

What’s in a Name? (9 entries)

  • 1st: Kul'tak Drol
  • 2nd: Taranae Rhode
  • 3rd: Tra'an Reith

Gaming (7 entries)

  • 1st: Taranae Rhode
  • 2nd: Tra'an Reith di Plagia
  • 3rd: Abadeer Taasii

This time around, we had four events that crossed the 10 entry threshold, and another pair that were really close. Remember, you get 5 points per entry, and anywhere from 1.5 points to a max of 9 points on top of that for a top three placement (a sliding scale based on the event modifier). Even if the opposite house from yours sweeps all the placements, you can wipe out that advantage pretty fast just with more active people!

Now that two of the rounds are in the books, the individual results now look like this:

  • 1st: Tra'an Reith di Plagia, 82.5 points
  • 2nd: Silent, 80 points
  • 3rd: Taranae Rhode, 78.5 points

So, Tra'an has eked out a lead, but it’s a veeeeery narrow one at that. Only 4 total points separate first place from third, so it’s still anyone’s game.

On the unit level, House Karness Muur was able to pick up some steam and separate itself from House Ajunta Pall this round based on strength of participation. As it stands, with the last week of the competition still to go, Karness Muur leads with 329 points to Karness Muur’s 310.5 points. The margin, while larger than week one’s, is still fairly narrow. 18.5 points is just under four non-placing entries, so Ajunta Pall is still very much in this fight. Your House’s bragging rights and pride are on the line, people! For week three, we’re currently tracking 9 entries across the 8 total events, so the glory is still out there to be seized! So this week, remember Gowron:
