Greetings all. That time for a report has rolled around yet again. As I write this, all of the Round IV Battles of the Fading Light ACC Tournament are completed and we are all eagerly awaiting the results. Win or lose, I can say that I’ve fully enjoyed the tournament thus far in all honesty. And that’s what really matters: whether or not you win, the overall success is determined by how much enjoyment is derived from the participants. My current battle that I’m awaiting results on is against someone who has been deemed one of, if not the best writer in the DB as a whole. Intimidated would be a nice way of putting my original reaction to realizing just who my opponent was. But, rather than throwing in the towel, I gave it my all and my best effort. Thank you for an excellent match, Shad!

The Arcona/Antei Contract Bureau has released its thirty-fifth contract as of last week and we have roughly a week before the launch of the August Pilot. I can say that I’m quite impressed with the turnout. Man, how the time flies. It seems as though only yesterday when Wally approached me about being one of the staff members to generate contract prompts and do a bit of grading. And I can honestly say that I’ve learned a lot along the way on how to improve my own writing through grading others and offering suggested improvements. Kudos to all of those who have contributed to the test-run! I'm looking forward to seeing what we do in the coming months. :D

As a side-note to that, there is now a section in the request form where you can make specific requests for said contracts. For example, you could even get highly specific in said requests. However, if they are longer than thirty words, we would prefer you email the staff members ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) with the details of said request. The current portion of the ACB will continue until the Fifth of August, which will subsequently lead into the start of the August Pilot.

The second in a series of competitions that I co-organised with Rrogon Skar of Battleteam Nighthawk called ‘Blood and Glory’ will be starting within the coming days.

Since my last report, there have been a few shinies flitting through dossiers. They are as follows:

• Celevon Edraven - 257 Clusters of Fire, 22 Seals of the Crusader and a Pendant of Blood
• Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae - 18 Seals of the Crusader
• Invictus - 20 Seals of the Crusader
• Shi Long - 5 Seals of the Crusader

Activity

Here are some competitions that are currently running. Of course, the Fading Light ACC Tournament has reached the end of Round IV, so I will not be adding in the link to that competition. Pending the highly anticipated results: myself, Sight, Atyiru (I know either Sight or Atty will be eliminated, since they’ve faced off against one another..) and Timeros are still in the running so far. :P
