BT News

• A lot of merit medals were awarded last month. Dark Cross for Zeon, Anteian Cross for Junazee and Krandon, and last but not least, a Steel Cross for Aaleeshah. Congratulations! You all well deserved it.
  
• July 9 marked the 2nd anniversary for our beloved Battle Team. And to honour our two years journey, I ran a trivia competition. Congrats to Aaleeshah and Junazee for winning the trivia!
• Give your warm welcome to our newest member, Marcadi Thowar or perhaps you may know him as Kaayn Salis, former member of StO!
  
• Battleteam Ooroo is still accepting new members since we still have two slots open. So if you’re interested in joining STO, please send an e-mail to me at: jediscumm[at]yahoo[dot]com
  
• And lastly, still related to getting more members, I run a competition to create a recruitment poster for our Battle team. More on this in the competition section.

Clan & House News

• Congrats to Turel Sorenn for being chosen as the new Proconsul of Clan Odan-Urr. Welcome back mate! And without wasting time, he is already busy running two clan-wide competitions: Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well and Wargames and also he’s starting work on possible COU Gaming Nights and created a poll to gauge interest help to get it started. So share your ideas!

Competitions

We have one BT-wide competition:
* Recruitment Poster; a graphic competition to create a recruitment poster (traditional or digital) to attract people to join our Battle Team.
And currently there are three clan-wide competitions:
* Comedy Series Summer fun!; organized by Revak Kur and co-organized by COU summits, which consists of two sub competitions:
** Quit Clowning Around; a fun and easy flash game.
** Summer Fun!; a fiction competition which asks you to write a story of what the Summit plans or is already doing this summer.
* Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well; complete as many SA courses as you can in August!
* Wargames; game on and collect the most Clusters of Fire and Clusters of Earth during the competition period to win!
