Huzzah! The second phase of Restoration, this time named Building, started on Friday. There is much to do regarding where Plagueis is heading fictionally, and anyone who has been keeping up with our fiction updates can see that we're working our way back to our home. The most recent fiction update sees us beginning to retake the KSD Transcendent. If you haven't read it yet, you should. It is definitely awesome. It also includes the major involvement of the winner of last phase, which was already sent out via e-mail at the end of that phase with the details, Jai'de!

The first phase went awesomely, and was fun. I hope to continue that. Our goal with Restoration isn't a continuation of what's been going on DJB-wide for the past year+, but more of a laid back, relaxed style of competitions which gives people something to occupy their free time with Star Wars stuff. In other words: the reason you all joined a club like this.

To recap Restoration: Building, here are the competitions:

• Gaming - A total summation of collected Clusters of Fire over the period of this phase of the event. The person with the most wins.
• Fiction - Stretch your creative mussles by participating to write in the fiction event!
• Trivia - A fun little trivia event to flex your Star Wars, Dark Jedi Brotherhood, and Clan Plagueis knowledge.
• Puzzle - Another little fun event, a puzzle centered around Clan Plagueis' current predicament.

We had a great show for the last phase, and I'd love to see it be even better this time! It was a close bout last phase, so hopefully everyone can up the ante this phase and make it even closer!

Opening Up Applications

Recently Clan Plagueis said "goodbye" to one of our staff members, Qormus, who stepped down as battleteam leader of the Apostles of Syn. As a result, Jai'de has been doing double duty, but since that's a disservice to her to ask her to do that we will be opening applications for the battleteam leader position of the Apostles of Syn within House Karness Muur.

This is a unique opportunity as the battleteam leaders of Clan Plagueis are more than just your standard entry-level management position. We use them as basically rollmasters of the individual houses, guiding journeymen to their eventual knighthood and acclimating them with the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole. As a result, we're opening applications to anyone DJB-wide who would be interested in this unique prospect.

We are looking for some standard information:

• Just a little about you that you'd like to share, to help us get a sense of you as a person (staff cohesion is an important part of what Plagueis does)
• Leadership experience (anything, including any real life leadership you think may be applicable, but none is required for this position)
• How you would describe your own leadership style
• General ideas for working with, motivating, and helping journeymen advance

A Consul Missing

Okay, well not missing, but just a heads up that for the rest of this week our fearless leader, Viv, is on vacation. Therefore anything that requires immediate attention for the rest of this week can be sent to either myself, one of the two quaestors (Selika & Callus), or the rollmaster (Dralin).

This was already sent out in e-mail, but still bares repeating.

We will also use this opportunity to have a fiesta paid for on Viv's credit card.
