Clan Plagueis Report: July, 2016

The Pinnacle, Command Center

Aliso

Unknown Regions

The Dread Lord and his Wrath stood in the command center of The Pinnacle overlooking the vast fields and hills that sprawled across the country side of their new home. The stale taste of old air had evacuated once the forces of Plagueis sprawled throughout The Pinnacle opening doors and windows. A large, open window on the far side of the command operations room, recently augmented with the Dread Lord's throne taken from the Anchorage, created a fresh feeling in command. The two of them, standing between the open window and the back of the throne, were going over the continued settlement process.

"Now that the move of the Anchorage is complete Kalon and Drac have been coordinating efforts with assigning our slaves to bringing everything back online," Selika reported as she simultaneously read off of the datapad in her hand. "What about Karn and Rhode?"

The Dread Lord, arms crossed with a thousand mile stare out the large window, responded, "They're scouting locations independently to set up camp. Once they find something they like, they'll report back for approval. It's a large place, and who knows what they might find; or like when they see it."

"Well the fleet is in orbit, but most of the crews have been offloaded to the surface to help with the efforts. They'll have plenty of help looking."

The sound of footsteps on the hard floor were echoing throughout the command center, growing louder.

"My lord, a shuttle just landed in the starport. A man by the name of Crandl Lorne is here to see you?" the officer was questioning the name.

"Our Inquisitorius friend," Selika mocked as a second set of footsteps could be heard approaching. Neither Plagueian turned to see who it was.

"What do you want, Lorne?" the Anzat consul quipped.

"I wanted to congratulate you on your capture of the Undesirables as slaves. While it would be preferred by Grand Master Pravus that you kill them, I understand your reasoning. It's just the same," the human surmised as he stood, clad in his neatly organized uniform. "This complex was a nice addition, too. I'm sure it has many secrets… which you'll be sure to share with the Iron Throne upon discovery."

Teylas turned his head slightly, eye to eye with Lorne, but remained silent.

"Is there anything we can do for you?" the Dread Lord's Wrath finally broke the silence.

Lorne simply shook his head, "Have a good day, Dread Lord."

The Pinnacle, Crew Quarters

Aliso

Unknown Regions

Crandl Lorne walked into one of the many abandoned crew quarters - most of which are still being cleaned up for habitation - one he had claimed for his stay while overseeing the Plagueian operations. He walked over to the computer console he had set up. Punching commands into the console, a holoprojector came to life filling the room with a bright blue light.

An indistinguishable face came to life.

Lorne nodded and reported in, "It looks as though Clan Plagueis will be staying a little bit longer. I haven't reported this to my superiors in the Inquisitorius, the Dark Council, or the Grand Master. This will be a direct threat to our operations."

"Stay where you are and monitor the situation. If it gets to be too hot, break cover and we will retrieve you."

What's Next?

Not a very long report because the post-Pro Bowl one was quite a lot.

So from the fiction you can see that, while Plagueis is settling in, not everyone has our best interest at heart. So what exactly is our NPC Inquisitorius overlord Crandl Lorne, assigned to Plagueis by the Grand Master during our conflict with Odan Urr up to? I'm certain he's going to be part of a major shape changing event in Plagueis history.

Our next event will be going nose first into this! Right now I'm looking at a launch likely around July 25th-ish (but don't hold me to that!). Everyone will get updates with more details later in the month in another clan report.

The format of the competitions will be pretty similar to the last event we just had. It'll be a shorter event, likely about 3 weeks, with a bunch of competitions each week to keep people busy. That way it doesn't drag on for over a month with only a few competitions every week. It worked super well last time and I think everyone was in love with that method.

In my last report I said there were some shinies still in the works and I'd highlight them in my next report. Well, here we are!

  • Arden Karn di Plagia to EQ4 (a huge shout out for this accomplishment!)
  • Laren Uscot, Grand Cross
  • Bal Demona to EQ1
  • Misium to EQ2

Aliso: Aftermath

Our very own Kelly Mendes is running a small group of competitions in the aftermath of the Pro Bowl. The event, aptly titled "Aftermath", contains a few competitions which can be found here:
