Hello again, everyone! Its your friendly neighbourhood Wombat Combat Master here. Been a little while and I've been intending to get this report done, so I do apologise for the delay.
With that said, let's get down to business!
My three month long competition ended at the start of the month and has been judged. Without further ado, I'd like to congratulate;
Azler Wilder of Clan Vizsla with two completed battles and a score of 7.92!
Shadow Nighthunter of Clan Scholae Palatinae also with two completed battles and a score of 8.74!
Rasilvenaira Stormraven also of Clan Scholae Palatinae. She completed a whopping five battles and had a score of 21.98, securing first place!
Congratulations to all of you and thank you to everyone who participated!
Alongside the New Year's Resolution, I also ran my ACC: Clan Venue Creation competition.
We have three new venues based on Clan locations! They are;
Existing on the edge of Ebon Ridge in the Clan Vizsla Homeworld of Zsoldos is a scavenger's paradise made real. The junked speeders, freighters, and fighters entice the more eagle-eyed opportunists in the galaxy. However, these are not the objective here.
A small warehouse exists buried amidst all the rubble, within which exists a hexagonal pit approximately twenty five feet across and eight feet deep. The rim of the pit has a four foot electrical fence lining it, making it impossible for the cowardly to escape. Two enter, one leaves. A large orange back-lit sign in Mando'a reads Adade Dar'yaim (Personal Hell) hangs above the pit whilst a medium sized office hangs suspended in perfect view of the fights below without obstruction from the rest of the crowd.
For whatever reason, this is where you and your opponent find yourselves; in Zsoldos’ infamous Scrap Pit. The stench of blood and sweat fills the air, the screams of the crowd betting on your victory or demise fills your ear as the humming of electrical wires forms goosebumps on your skin. You have two choices; win, or die.
Credits, not words.
This is the way.
This is from Clan Vizsla.
In the crushing depths beneath Tythas City lies one of the most dangerous places on planet Daleem, Mining Platform Omega-9, a place where only the toughest and bravest of laborers dare to work. As one of the deepest and largest rigs in the city’s Abyssal sector, built to extract Rhydonium from the ocean crust below, the platform is a confusing maze of walkways, pipes, and massive drills that shake the seafloor.
The environment is more dangerous than any space station—low light, freezing temperatures, oppressive pressure that causes tremors, ratting the facility. The structure itself is a death trap in waiting; rusted catwalks groan under the weight of movement, coolant leaks form icicles and black ice on metal flooring, and sudden pressure fluctuations can send entire sections into lockdown and depressurization.
Some areas are exposed to the ocean and permanently closed off. Others are close to catastrophic depressurization, and leaks are common and deadly at this pressure. Each compartment is divided from the others with bulkheads and blast doors which can close in seconds. When death comes it comes suddenly and it comes unexpectedly.
The main drill shaft plunges into the darkness below the platform, a bottomless pit of unknown horrors visible only through sparse sensors and vidcams, around the shaft mineral extractors constantly grind water, rock and mud, while conveyor belts carrying raw materials web through the interior towards the extraction facility.
Pray you can get out before the pressure or the dark take you.
This is in COU territory.
Located to the frozen north of the Taldryan Capital of Port Kasiya sits a converted Ascendant crater left behind during Great Jedi War XV. This crater has been renovated into the Taldryan Senate Complex.
If Port Kasiya is the beating heart of Taldryan, then the Senate Complex is the working brain. The Senate Chamber lay in the centre and spreads approximately fifty floors high, the walls littered with repulsorpods for representatives and senators of the Taldryan Republic. There is no walkway from one side of the chamber to the other. The pods can detach and float around the centre approximately seven-hundred foot above ground. Each one is fitted with voice-projecting microphones, translators, and hovercams so that none of the internal machinations within are missed.
Towards the centre of the complex is the pod belonging to the Supreme Chancellor of the Taldryan Republic that is in perfect view of the large, oval room. Heating is a luxury as a dull, windless chill permeates the bones of those who enter the chamber. The light is dim, the only source provided by the repulsorpods themselves. The chamber is almost silent, barring the low whirring and murmuring of machinery. Secret passages behind the pods lead to escape routes and hallways further within the complex.
This is meant to be a place of diplomacy. Of peace and justice. It is a symbol of the Taldryan Republic's ideals and values, however corrupt or twisted they may actually be.
In large letters, each pod has an inscription engraved into it;
A brotherhood within a Brotherhood.
And this last one is in Taldryan territory.
Oh, geez… where do I even start with this?
There have been a lot of fantastic battles over the last couple of months.
Turel vs Narman on Korriban was a delight to behold at the new(ish) venue.
Hector and Azler display some epic teamwork on the new(ish) scenario venue, Maldo Kreis.
Though, I would be remiss if I did not highlight the members in first and second place for my New Year Resolution competition.
Rasilvenaira vs Shadow Nighthunter on Dathomir displays co-operative teamwork as well as character history that I found a delight to read through.
All the battles were a joy, and I thank each and every one of you that give the ACC a try.
That's all from me this time! As always, if you have any queries or concerns, please feel free get in contact with me either on Discord or via email. I'm always willing, and able, to help where I can.
Until next time.

I adore the detail in these venues. Theyre so magical and thrilling!
Things sure are getting heated down in Tythas. Loving the new locations, and seeing the effort everyone put into them, as well as how enthusiastic you've been putting the whole thing together since taking off as Wombat Master.
Very nice additions!
