Combat Master Report #3: ACC Championship: Revival Sign Ups Are Open!

The time has finally arrived:
The ACC Championship Tournament has returned and sign ups are now open. Please find the container competition here, read the details and rules in full, and subscribe the the tournament that best reflects your experience within the ACC.
To participate, subscribe to the child competition of your choosing before the start date of Saturday, August 29th, 2026.
This Championship will see every participant given a chance to move on to the bracket/ladder that they have signed up for via one qualifying preliminary round match. Some of the biggest gripes that I've seen about previous tournaments relate to long preliminary rounds that cause burnout before the bracket/ladder even begins. With that in mind, we're only having one preliminary round and the top 16 scores from each tournament will move on to the bracket/ladder. Details on the format and rules can be found in the previously linked container competition and within each individual tournament competition. You may only subscribe to one of the two competitions.
This championship will feature alternative ending match types. All members, new and old, are invited to sign up and participate and try their luck at winning the ACC Championship Belt.
AGAIN - To sign up please subscribe to the competition before its start date of August 29th 2026. You must sign up before the Championship starts. Late-subscription is disabled.
Sign Up Restrictions:
As noted in the competitions, there are no restrictions to sign up for the Masters Tournament other than having a valid and approved character sheet and loadout for the character you intend to use. In order to participate in the Beginners/Intermediate Tournament you must have 10 or fewer Wins AND 15 or fewer Completed Matches within the ACC. Anyone that signs up to the Beginners/Intermediate Tournament that does not meet these requirements will be asked to switch to the Masters Tournament.
Character Usage:
You may use any of your characters within the tournament, as long as they have a valid and approved character sheet and loadout. However, your character will remain the same between all rounds and it is assumed when you sign up that you will be using your main character. If you would like to use an alternative character, please reach out to me via the email listed on my dossier with a subject of ACC Championship alternative character and let me know which character you want to use.
Please note that if you are using an alternative character, the character must be in your second character slot. This is a restriction of the ACC design when matches are created manually. I can only select your main character or use alternative character, but the site will automatically use the character in your 2nd slot if I pick the option to use your alternative character. This is why communication is important. I must know to click the option to use the alternative character, and you must ensure that the character is in your second slot.
Conclusion:
It's showtime! I can't wait for you all to see the venues that have been created for this event, and I can't wait to see how you all use them and what stories come from this tournament. As a general reminder, all ACC matches are considered non-canon by default. You may treat your match as canon for your character only if you and your opponent agree to those terms. With that in mind, there is no restriction to killing/maiming/dismembering your opponents. Just remember, that likely won't be canon.
With all that said, get in there and kill, kill, kill!
