Introduction

Good afternoon, everyone! (Or morning, depending on where you are.) I hope everyone is doing well today. I have an exciting announcement to share, so let's get right to it!

Timeouts

Previously, when a Timeout occurs, members will receive Clusters of Ice for the words written during the battle. There were no points allocated towards the Combat side of the ACC Society.

I'm happy to let you all know that is no longer the case.

With approval from the higher ups and a little bit of James magic (praise be), in the event of a Timeout, 0.5 points will be allocated per post (to a maximum of 1 point) for the member who did not cause the timeout.

For example;

• If your battle times out and you did not cause the timeout, if you did one post, you will get 0.5 points of Combat Society Progress.

• If you did two posts, you would get 1 point towards Combat Society progress. In battles with more than two posts per combatant, this is still capped at 1 point.

• If you are the one who caused the Timeout, then you get no points towards Combat Society regardless of how many posts have been made.

Please bear in mind that it is still more beneficial to complete battles as you can get 2 points for a win.

Battle Highlight

It's that time again! The part of my report where I highlight a battle that has occured.

This time, I would recommend you all take a look at Idris vs Bale. Here we have two writers who enjoyed writing with each other and have character history with one another getting up to shenanigans together. Would highly recommend a read.
