Combat Master Report #5: 24 Hours Left for ACC Championship Sign Ups

24 Hours Remain:

As promised, I am sending out this report to let everyone know that there are 24 hours left to sign up for the ACC Championship Tournament. You can find the container competition here. Tomorrow at 12 AM UTC/8 PM EST/7PM CST/6 PM MST/5 PM PST signups for the event will close and no one else will be allowed to join.

Turn Out:

The turn out for this event has been awesome. As of this writing we have 14 members signed up for the Masters tournament and 25 signed up for the Beginners/Intermediate tournament for a total of 39 members. I would absolutely love it if we could get 2 (or more) additional subscribers to the Masters tournament, that way we have a full bracket. If not, that's no problem and we'll just have one or two byes in the first round (not to be mistaken with the preliminary round).

If we end up with an odd number of sign ups in one or both tournaments, I will be looking for someone (perhaps even two people) to step up and take on a preliminary round match for the sake of giving everyone that signed up a score in the preliminary round. While I can't offer any volunteers much for helping out in this way, what I can offer is participation credits/XP/Clusters for the competition, even though you won't move on to the first round. If you have any interest in volunteering for this role, please feel free to reach out to me on Discord or via email. Hopefully this won't be necessary, but we'll see!

A Couple of Important Reminders:

As noted in previous reports and the competition details, when you sign up to this tournament, it is assumed that you will be using your main character (the one in your first character slot). If you would like to use an Alternative Character, you need to do two things. Make sure that character is in your second character slot and contact me to let me know that you want to use an alt.

As of right now, I have received word from the following people that they would like to use an Alternative Character for the tournament. If your name is not on this list, you haven't contacted me to let me know you want to use an alt. If you wish to use an alt, please notify me prior to the start of the tournament on August 29th.

In addition to what I've said about character usage above, please, please make sure that the load out you want to use with your character is listed as the (Primary) load out for them. You can do so by going to Administration > Character Slots and NPCs > Click the Manage dropdown for the character you will be using and select the Loadouts and Snapshots option. When that page opens, find the loadout you want and click the left arrow on it until it is the first one listed and it says (Primary) next to it.
