Kanal brushed the dust from old bookshelves that belonged to the previous Quaestor Farrin. He had seldom touched the shelves and they were in a state of disarray and needed correction. Medals were now placed upon the shelves with trophies from marks that he had captured or killed in the line of duty, including bounties.

The bell to Kanal’s office door chimed briefly. “Enter,” Kanal said as he continued cleaning up the room. A familiar Rattataki face entered the room.

“Ahh, finally getting this office in order I see,” Korvis said with a sly grin on his face.

“Well, you know what they say.” Kanal joked.

“No, I don’t. What is it?” He quickly retorted.

Clearly caught off guard with the quick answer Kanal stuttered with his answer. “Umm, a clean office is good for the soul.” He made it up on the spot and watched as the Consul shook his head in disbelief.

Welcome to the end of year report. This year has been both exciting and at times a trying time for the Clan. We have seen a lot of changes over the last 12 months including an entire summit change over the past 12 months. In this report I will throw out some numbers, we will look at our accomplishments, where we can improve as a unit, and take a look at what lies ahead in 2022 for the clan.

-= Projects =-

Over the past year we have completed a number of clan projects. The biggest was a complete overhaul of the Vizsla Fleet. Spearheaded by Von Ricmore with an assist by myself and Brimstone we sold off all but two ships in the Vizsla Fleet. Several different fleet configurations were made and decided upon. It was a big undertaking and I for one am proud of how it turned out.

The next big thing we did was redesign the Vizsla system. We created 3 additional planets aside from Zsoldos and added several moons as well. This was a pretty big group effort by the clan summit with a lot of discussion and work by everyone. You can see the new system here

These planets all were designed with future plans in mind and will be featured in upcoming events. They vary in biomes and types to keep things different and fresh. We also narrowed down our spot in the Galaxy with it being one galactic sector south of the Endor system. This provides easy access to the rest of the galaxy for all our bounty hunting and smuggling needs but off the beaten path enough to not be inside that actual Canon star wars lore.

Aside from these we have added several wiki articles, added a second house and made several policy changes.

-= By the Numbers =-

One of the first goals we set out as Consul and Proconsul was to set about a plan to make sure our members were properly awarded and done so in a timely manner. I think we have succeeded where possible to get things out for activity quickly and efficiently. In the last 7 months Members of Vizsla have earned 1 Ruby Scepter, 1 Amethyst Kukri, 4 Sapphire Blades, 8 Steel Crosses, 4 Anteian Cross and 2 Dark Crosses. Some members have been awarded multiple times during that stretch.

This will continue to be a major focus for us. Credits not words isn’t just a saying in Vizsla. It is the creed we operate by. As the Consul of Vizsla, I have failed the clan if I do not award you promptly and properly. We have multiple tools in place to track what the members do and I review those quite regularly. Do stuff, get stuff. It really is that simple and we will continue to hold up our end of that bargain if the members do stuff.

-= Looking Ahead =-

What is ahead for Vizsla? The immediate item is the next Great Hunt which will be the biggest yet. The entire event has been planned by Kanal and Brimstone. I would say it is looking fantastic but even I have been kept in the dark about it. We wanted everyone who possibly could to be able to compete in it including me. I have gotten a few teasers and from them it looks to be really fun with some new/old competitions that many may remember from the old Bounty Hunters Guild days. The Great Hunt will also feature a major storyline. The Taking of Daemunn, that will establish the sole base of operation for the Clan in the system.

Wiki work will be an ongoing project for the foreseeable future. The Fleet wiki needs to be completed as well as all the new planets and moons in the system. An Armed Forces overhaul is also planned. So as always we will take any volunteers for these projects and I will make sure they are awarded appropriately.

Myself and Zoron will be planning a Great Hunt later in the year and we may look to doing an event with another Clan. depending on how schedules align with various clans. I had a blast in helping plan and run the Pro Bowl and I am sure y’all had fun participating in it. The dates for the next Vendetta have not been finalized yet so there are still some things up in the air until we get those dates from the GM and DGM.

-= Consul Corner =-

Normally I use this section to give my thoughts on various things. I am approaching 7 months as Consul and wanted to use this spot to thank first, you guys. The members of this clan. In all honesty I had no clue what I was getting into when I reached out to Evant to become Consul. To be even more honest I didn’t even know what I was doing half the time. You guys could have jumped ship and instead stuck with me through my growing pains. I still have a lot to learn but y’all make it fun and easy. No major drama, no infighting, this Clan has some of the best members I have ever had the privilege of knowing.

Second, I wanted to thank the DC members and Consuls that helped me get through the first few months and continue to offer advice. Slagar, Bentre, Howie, Drac, Anubis, Atra and so many others have been a huge boon to me and it is great to work with so many Consuls that care about making this club a better place regardless of Clan Affiliation.

I look forward to seeing what we can all accomplish together next year in Vizsla and the Brotherhood as a whole.
