Greetings, Odanites!

Welcome to my first report as the Rollmaster of Clan Odan-Urr. At first, let me introduce myself. Some of you may already recognize my name, but probably not all of you. I am Xantros, former member of Clan Scholae Palatinae I have been Aedile of HSP for around 17 months and Battleteam Leader of Caliburnus (BT of HSP) for twenty months. I also used to work as a Magistrate to the Master-At-Arms. Finally, I am the Professor of the Department of Leadership Studies in the Shadow Academy, which I have taken over in July, 2014, when I have finished my service as the Professor of the Department of Writing Studies.

Enough about me, as you are probably more interested in my plans for you.

Character development

I would like to provide you with friendly environment for fictional development of your characters. It means two ways of helping you. First, I will organize two fiction competitions each month. They will put your characters in various situations, so that you may describe both adventures, feelings, opinions and changes of your character. After each competition, I will compare your entries with your Character Sheets and Wiki articles and provide you with feedback. If you have any requests or ideas in this matter, please let me know.

The other way to help you is to advise you in matters of character development. If you have any questions about how to adjust your Character Sheet, how to develop aspects of your character and how to write your character story, I am here to help you. Do not hesitate to ask me and I will do my best to answer your questions.

Fine art of debating

We would like to see, if you are interested in long-forgotten activity, which is debating. I will organize two debating competitions in the upcoming weeks. One will make you stay in-character, while the other will be a classing debate. More details to come in very close future. If your activity proves your interest in this form of activity, we will continue hosting such competitions (remember about character development!).

Master / Student Programme

I shall also take care of our Master / Student Programme. I will set a website with basic information about it and gather a list of available Masters and current pairs, in order to easily manage pairings. I hope that my efforts in this matter will help you benefit from the MSP even more than you do now.

Jedi Archives (and a story writing guideline)

I would love to see members of Clan Odan-Urr (yes, it means you :)) a dominant force in the Brotherhood as far as writing stories is concerned. This is why, I am planning to host Jedi Archives, which will serve as a way, to get your stories read and evaluated by experienced writers of our Clan, and published on a regular basis via e-mail. The details of the project are still discussed and it may take some time to actually launch it, but I hope it will be very helpful to all of you.

Also, apart from the opportunity to get additional feedback on your fiction (either submitted to competitions, if you want another opinion, or submitted directly to the Jedi Archives), I am also workng over a guideline, which shall deal with providing you further knowledge about writing stories. I am in the initial phase and it may also take few weeks to get it completed, but I want to make sure that it will be of top quality.

Leadership & Management Programme

People interested in taking leadership jobs in COU will be able to take part in Leadership & Management Programme. It will probably take a form of various theoretical materials being send to the participants and the participants making practical exercises. It shall provide you with basic knowledge about various aspects of leadership and help you understand them.

Super secret project

There is also a super secret project, which I am working on. You will learn the details, when it is launched. I hope that you will enjoy it, because it shall be really awesome for you. Stay tuned for more details, as they will come soon!

What to expect from my reports?

I will focus on things, which are important from the point of view of Clan Rollmaster. It means that I will leave most of news for A'lura, Turel and House Summits, while dealing with keeping you informed about current roster, awards, promotions and activity.

I will also keep you updated with progress of projects, which I want to complete. You will regularly receive e-mails about what is happening regarding these projects. It means that I will send a lot of e-mails in the upcoming months and speak about them in the reports.

Apart from these things, I will encourage you to participate in competitions and host your own competitions and help you work out your way in the ranks of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Thus, you will be informed about things, which you may do to show your activity.

Final thoughts

There is a lot going to happen in the upcoming weeks, but plpease, give me few days to settle in the office, before I will start working at full pace. I need to prepare a lot of basic things, before I can actually do more advanced stuff. I will reach House Summits and Battleteam Leaders to discuss various matters with them. I hope that we will see results of some of the Rollmaster's projects before the next report. Stay tuned!
