"Rise, my friends," Kamjin motioned to the two Sith kneeling before him. They stood in contrast to each other. One armored in matted black and the other in polished white. "This is a glorious day for Scholae Palatinae as our Ruling Council is made whole."

Warlord Archangel Palpatine and Battlelord Aldaric rose as Raleien and Reiden gave curt applause from the side of the room. Kamjin leaned forward onto his desk. "There is much work to be done and little enough time to do it. I have had a vision of the future that has left me deeply disturbed as to the safe keeping of our newly acquired artifacts."

Aldaric looked perplexed at Archangel. "Ah, I'd imagine you have questions Aldaric having just joined us from Vizsla. If you both have questions, now is the time to ask them." Both Aldaric and Archangel's hands shot up at the same time. Kamjin sighed, taking his elbows off the flimsy collapsible table he was using as a desk. "Are your questions about the desk?"

Archangel and Aldaric both shook their head in the affirmative. Kamjin sighed, "I will not be answering any questions regarding the desk."

What an exciting first month as Consul! We've finalized the alignment for our Summit and now our focus will turn to increasing competitions at the Clan/House level and avenues for exploring the House fictional story lines.

In terms of in-universe updates we've made two revisions.

1. We have given a secondary title to the Proconsul position. Henceforth, the PCON will will be known as our Viceroy (e.g., second to the Emperor). This replaces the previously utilized titles of Grand Admiral, which limited the role to a military based background or Moff which was removed when it was introduced as a rank for the Loyalist faction.

2. We've relocated where the Caperion System is located in the Star Wars galaxy. We're now located in grid I3, shaded in red in the map below. You can also view the map itself. This places us closer to Imperial Remnant space as defined by 40 ABY and still near several familiar Star wars locations such as Dantooine, Mygeeto, Ithor, Ord Mantell, and Dathomir. Not to mention closer to Mandalorian space. You'll see this factor into future updates from the Regent's office as well.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the recent Force Artifacts: Let's Do Some Science!. We had 13 unique participants across 5 different competitions which allowed us to upgrade the container competition crescents!

There were a lot of amazing submissions. I especially loved this submission by Thran Occasus-Palpatine based upon the fictional opening to my last report.

The below table outlines the placements based upon total score. Where there were ties these were broken based upon placement within the sub-competitions.

Congratulations to you all. We'll introduce some smaller competitions in the interim but Sithmas is coming!!

As Proconsul I announced two special projects which were kicked off. I'm pleased to announce we've completed one of those projects, which was the restructuring of our Military (e.g., possessions). Thran Occasus-Palpatine spearheaded this project and conducted an extensive amount of research into the Imperial Sourcebook and alignment of forces.

This has resulted in us diversifying the the military. This is most clearly noted in the Fleet where we went from primarily having a Star Destroyer (Imperial or Victory) and only TIE Defender squadrons to a well rounded strike fleet.

Below is an example of Fleet 1, which will be considered the primary Clan fleet. There's now numerous support ships from Vindicator-class Heavy Cruisers, Strike Cruisers, Lancer-class Frigates, etc. In addition, we have a range of TIE Fighters to support different mission assignments.

Fleets 2 and 3 will be considered aligned to House Caliburnus and House Acclivis Draco.

Equally, we've realigned the Army into four similar Regiments. Of notable change is the fourth Battalion no longer is limited just to AT-ATs for heavy armor. There is now a full artillery line and supporting Attack Armor companies.

Finally, the Praetorian Guard (renaming pending for each of the companies) has been diversified from being similar assault companies to unique units and would enable the full Praetorian Guard to tackle any special mission assignment.

Assisting Thran were Reiden who helped with purchasing and sorting of items and myself who went on the spending spread and slotting items into the new containers.

For those curious, below is our current spending account. I'm of the opinion that we spend every credit we make in supporting the military. This will help us with not only our internal fictional activities but also any future competitions that require clan assets to be leveraged.

How do YOU feel about the new fleet and army? Do you want to click more buttons? - Thran

I love it and the exercise of going through the store and purchasing all the possessions and slotting them into the various structures has given me a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the possessions we have.

To me the changes fleshes out the fleet from how you saw the Empire in the Original Trilogy of a massive Star Destroyer and one or two types of TIE Fighters and shifts us into the Extended Universe and a more "reality" based approach where there's a fleet of supporting ships to manage the mission profile.

If you translate this to the real world Navy a Star Destroyer to me is an Aircraft carrier and you wouldn't send one of those off undefended. It's the center of a fleet of Destroyers, Battleships, Missile Cruisers, etc. that can protect it while it launches it's aircraft.

As for wanting to click more buttons; absolutely! One item I'll be continue to discuss with you (Thran) is future purchases and how we can track to obtaining the credits. Next stop Interdictor!

Role-playing: is that a thing? - Raleien

I assume you don't mean LARP (see pictures of a 17 year old Consul back when I was MAA). So roleplaying is definitely a thing now within the DJB and Alethia Archenksova is heading up the newly formed society as Exarch. There will be some exciting news coming out soon from her regarding how the DJB will continue to evolve to encourage and recognize this activity.

In preparation, we've aligned Battlelord Xathia Edraven as our resident Dungeon Master (DM). She's been testing the functionality with Raleien and Archenksova and we've moved into a public pilot stage. If you're interested please reach out to Xathia as she's working now on reusable templates for Non-Player Characters (NPCs).

Can you give the Clan a fictional re-cap of where things stand, and where we might be going? - Raleien

I'll try to answer, without giving away to much detail for future story lines, by discussing the two story arcs that are in-flight for the clan.

1. Dark Times Saga Arc - We are in the final arc of this story to conquer and control the Caperion System. Battlelord Dek Iron'yikut will continue to lead this storyline and the epic conclusion planned for January, 2022.

2. Artifact Arc - We've completed phase 2 of this arc where all the newly discovered were tested and, in the event of some of our members, some mind altering and scary results were felt. We will pick-up this arc following Sithmas in December, 2021 and the conclusion of the Dark Times Saga Arc in January, 2022. This story will build throughout 2022.
