[CSP] Proconsul Report # Two

Throne Room Judecca Station Caperion System

Empress Shadow sat on her newly created throne - an erstwhile command chair on the deck of Judecca Station. The Golan station was an impressive display of military might and the sole fitting possession in the Caperion System worthy of her power and prestige. Standing in front of her eyes raised to meet her steely gaze is Grand Marshall Mauro Wynter wearing his battered flight suit, helmet held in his hands.

“Your Majesty, the results of Project Phoenix are in - Dek has compiled a full report.” Stated the Proconsul calmly with a lifetime of military bearing imparting gravity to his words.

“And how bad is it my friend? How many of our key warriors have returned from Arx and moved into their quarters?” Her eyes did not meet his, staring into the blackness of space from the massive viewport ahead of her.

Wynter took a second to formulate the response. “Indeed...it is somewhat encouraging. An elite cadre has returned but not as many as we had hoped. Archangel is visiting temporarily the intentions are as yet unknown. Reiden, Xendar, Dek, Xantros, Rayne, and Rasilvaneira clearly will make up the backbone of our forces as we rebuild. Whatever we hope to achieve will rely on them. Yet, their example will be lead others back to the fold I am sure.”

The Empress sighed heavily before taking a moment to smile. “And Mune...what of Mune?”

Wynter put his helmet on the deck and presented letters patent to his Empress. “Mune Cinteroph is a stalwart of the Clan. His efforts have lead the way. With your approval we need to make a statement.”

The Empress looked at the document before smiling yet again. “Good, this will be a fitting start.”

Project Phoenix Results

Project Phoenix has concluded! As the first “event” post GJW for Clan Scholae Palatinae it was a good opportunity to gauge our activity and participation rates and also see if the survey results regarding what activities people preferred turned out to be correct or not.

For the (3) competitions we went via a slate of (1) fiction, (1) puzzle, and (1) graphic. True to form, we were able to verify that fiction and puzzles are very popular with (6) submissions each and the graphics had a further (3) submissions. Full details aside, we received modest participation at (15) total submissions from (8) participants.

While this is a far cry from the ideal rate of (30) submissions from (15) participants it has allowed us to see where we are at. If we look at the GJW’s highest participation Phase from Clan Scholae Palatinae we hit 24 submissions from 9 participants so in truth we now know that our minimum participation rate will be. We now have a baseline in which to measure all future activity and can set goals and plans accordingly.

That being said – time to recognize those who participated. The standings from Project Phoenix are as follows:

1st Place: Mune 2nd Place: Reiden 3rd Place: Xantros 4th Place: Xendar 5th Place: Rayne 6th Place: Dek 7th Place: Rasilvenaira 8th Place: Archangel

With that in mind…..as a reward for his placement Mune Cinteroph is hereby awarded with the title of Director of Scholae Palatinae Intelligence...what is this you ask? Well keep reading.

Clan Scholae Palatinae Military Page

As previously discussed - we are taking an ACTIVE run at updating all of the CSP Wiki pages that are pertinent and viable. One critical priority was the Scholae Palatinae Military page. From a careful reading you can see that there are several open honorific positions such as the following. These positions will only be filled by winning Clan level events as a reward for participation and performance: Field Marshal Surface Marshal Fleet Admiral General High Marshal

Along with the position of Director - these positions are the War Councilors and make up the advisory and leadership council for the Clan. As we go forward we will be looking to fill ALL of these honorifics so there are opportunities for everyone.

Activity Spotlight

Which brings us to an important activity that is about to be run by our very own Director of Scholae Palatinae Intelligence - Mune Cinteroph. Mune has graciously put together a good old fashion run-on event as we learned from the survey and Project Phoenix we do indeed love fiction and writing together.

Training Exercises in the Archipelago has a great intro prompt and builds upon our current storyline of rebuilding the Clan after the disastrous GJW. Please subscribe and take part! It is about to kick off now!

Summary

Project Phoenix has ended and has had some encouraging results, results that have verified some facts for us in terms of what activities you all support, the rough idea of what baseline of activity and participation we can expect, and a good beginning.

The Wiki project has had a good start and is a fun read on the Military page. We will be doing more of this as the weeks unfold. It will be an aggressive push indeed. I personally will take a hand in this by sheer determination if need be.

Finally, Mune’s run-on is a good way forward as we have another round of competitions and a fictional update from Dek and the Empire’s Chosen House.

Great report!!! Congrats to Mune as Director of CSP intelligence!!! Good job in Project Phoenix, y'all! And do the RO!!!!

Awesome report! Yay comps! Thank you Mauro for hosting, it was a lot of fun!
