Well, this last month has been rather interesting for everyone, I am sure. I hope that your Halloween night was not too crazy, and that you have been keeping warm as the November temperatures have been setting in in earnest. I hope that you were not left too drained by Ashes Fall either.

I normally have a little more to be said in this little section, but I think this month I will be a little more brief than normal.

For one thing, I would like to take a moment to thank my former Master, Daedric Turrelles for his service as my BTS. He has already stepped down by the time that this report was put together, but I do not want his service to be forgotten or understated. More on that later on in the report, though.

As we go into November, it appears we are in a bit of a lull leading up to the holidays. I hope that people will take this time to spend time with their families, participate in some more laid back competitions, develop their character, game, or whatever makes them happy. I for one have been spending more time than I care to admit between the Old Republic and a couple of other games.

Somehow my rather brief message stretched out more than I had expected. I suppose I will stop rambling on then. I hope that you all have a good month. If you see me in TOR, feel free to send me a message. I am willing to run around with folks, and help out any way I can!

Oh, and congratulations to everybody in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood who recieved a Seal of Loyalty. You all are what make this such a great place to be!

Sarge's Corner

Normally I would have a bit here, but as I have no BTS at the moment, check back here, I will just hang this here:

I am officially opening up for people to apply for the position of Battle Team Sergeant. A lot of the position is going to be working with and tag teaming with your BTL to create some fun opportunities for the team.

You will have a chance to also learn about my job. Mostly I just desire someone who wants to help make Devil's Shroud a great place.

Send me your applications via an email with any relevant experience, why you would like to be a BTS, and what you hope to accomplish in the position. Experience is not a necessity, I just like to know what kinds of skillsets we have to tap into.

I would love to have the position filled by the next time that I file a report, if that is alright. So if you can get an application in by December 11th, that will give me a little bit of time to select a candidate. Now, if I get an absolutely spectacular application, I reserve the right to make a decision. However, this is not terribly likely to happen- as even if I get a spectacular app I wanna give everyone a chance to put in one.

Final Thoughts

There is not as much time as the holidays set in, and I understand that. I do hope that people will find the time to participate a bit in competitions, or the events of their choice. I am very pleased with some of the efforts I have seen thus far. I know that as we come together as a team, we strengthen our House and the Brotherhood as a whole as the ripples of our actions spread out. Coming into December and the New Year, I hope that you will all be given ample opportunities to shine out in your own ways. If there is anything that I might be able to do to make things more enjoyable, or some event you would like to see realized, I would be glad to assist. I want to help make Devil's Shroud as awesome as it can be. As my title says, all this lull in November is just a temporary calm. There is a lot of excitement coming up, and I hope everyone will take part in it.
