Announcements

A reasonably quiet week. To summarize:

• Valhavoc posted a new Fist report. In it there are stats from Fading Light, nerfing of Pazaak CFs, SWTOR stuff covering the new expansions and competitions, news about a new JA server, updates on Star Citizen, and various competition results. I'm not going to go into depth about the Pazaak CFs because I still strongly disagree with it, but read through the comments and understand the reasoning behind it.
• The Right Hand of Justice position is opening up as Yacks' term is coming to an end. Essentially, the RHoJ is the Crown/DA in the justice system we have here. The wiki article explains it better. If you are interested, make sure you have at least CoJ I done from the SA, but it would be strongly suggested that you also complete CoJ II. Applications are due by week's end, but whether that's Friday or Sunday (or Saturday), I have no clue. Sooner is better.

Competitions

Ok, there's a LOT of competitions of all genres available, however I want to draw your attention to the important one first. Dinaari and Ektrosis need to settle an age-old argument - which house is the best? Obviously it's Ektrosis, but apparently we need to have hard proof of that.

In that vein, Armags and I have put together a battle royale over the next three weeks to solve this. The main competition page can be found here, and the first week's event will be open on the 22nd and runs until the 29th. The sub-competition for week 1 is "Defend Your House!"

There are points for both placement AND participation, so everyone take a stab at this one! We have intentionally selected events that shouldn't take a long time to complete, so step up to the plate and defend our house's good name!
