Intro

Hey there! This will be my first report as Praetor to the Emissary despite holding the position for some time now. Those that know me call me Siv (after my previous main, Sivall) or Tor. I've held a handful of positions in the DB over my two years of being here, from clan positions to a few staffer positions. It's nice to meet you all. I worked as a Magistrate for some time under Erinyes before she realized that I was probably a bigger dork than her and she wanted me as her second.

I like long periods of sitting and playing video games and hate the sun-- oh right, I had a point to making this report.

A New EMS Project

I've been struggling to try to find a way to involve members into our recruitment initiative and social media presence. Our wonderful DGM gave me a fantastic idea a few weeks back. What if we interviewed members (that want it anyways), and spotlight those interviews on our social media? I had tried to launch a project last year that highlighted a few of our Dark Councilor's, but didn't see much in the way of results for that. You might have seen them on our socials yourself.

I plan to do much the same with our member highlights. I can hear you already-- "But Tor! I don't have any character art!" And that's completely fine. Having character art is not a necessity for the interviews or highlights. We want to hear from everyone, from the new members to people who have been here since we split from EH. The content of these interviews will be pretty benign and mundane, from questions like "What drew you to the DB" to questions like "What was your favorite part of creating your character". There are no wrong or dumb answers.

We would not be here without any of you. You are the heart and soul of this club.
