This will be my final report as the Consul of Clan Plagueis.

I came to Clan Plagueis in June of 2012. Earned my first position on the summit as a BTS in January of 2013 and worked my way up from there. I first took the reins from Viv in August of 2015, and since then, as a clan, we've put the dark back into Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Almost immediately, Clan Plagueis became a staple of the Brotherhood again. We were running regular events with great success, I was taking feedback for what we were doing and modifying it was we went to improve the experience of Plagueis members, and in general I think everyone was having a great time being here. Plagueis was constantly near, or at, the top of the Brotherhood in activity metrics, and we were churning out rewards for our members like never before.

For about a year and a half this became very formulaic and repetitious. The process I was employing was fairly straightforward and it was working. But as a leader, as the leader of Plagueis, it was becoming, for lack of a better word, boring. Around October of 2016 I informed Mav that I was getting to a point where I was feeling I had nothing more to add as consul. I felt I had done it all: Plagueis was an extremely well oiled machine, I met all the goals I set out to achieve when I first became consul, I had expanded upon the canon environment of the clan, ended up being the longest serving consul in Clan Plagueis history, and we were rewarding members extremely well. On top of that, I felt that by just sitting in the seat as consul I was holding back some really excellent people in Plagueis from moving up and/or getting into leadership and showing what I know they're capable of.

Under Mav's guidance I took a little LOA away from all things DJB just to clear my head and get away from it all temporarily. When I came back I was a little refreshed, but it didn't take long for those feelings to return. Plain and simple? I just wasn't bringing anything new to the table anymore to better serve you guys as consul. As a result, I informed Pravus and Mav recently that I do intend to step down as Consul of Clan Plagueis once a replacement can be found. Right now, it feels right for someone else to take the reins from me and move Plagueis forward in their own direction.

During my 17+ months as consul I've got to interact with so many wonderful people in both Plagueis and the DJB abroad that it'd be a whole other report to thank you all. But I will say that I truly appreciate everything that everyone has done to make my life easier as consul, my time more enjoyable as a member, and for just being good friends. For so many members of Plagueis over the years who have really shown what "Do all the things!" has been all about. I especially want to thank all the staff I've had over the years. Some, like Slagar, have been with me since day one. Some are relatively new. But all of you have really helped embody everything I set forth from day one that running a clan is a team effort, and certainly not one that I, or anyone, could do by themselves. I plan to remain as a member of Plagueis, and will remain in the MAAs office until Howie feels like throwing me out on my ass. So I'll still be very much around, just not in any official consul capacity.
