Introduction

Well, it’s the end of July and we’re on the eve of War— Oh, uhh, wait, no, no that’s been delayed. Okay, so it’s the end of July and we’re seeing some change ups in the House. Xenna has stepped down from Battleteam Leader, with Uji stepping into the role once more. This decision was not lightly taken and was discussed by all involved, I thank Xenna for the hard work she’s put in and hope she can learn a lot from Donny.

We had several members from Galeres take part in the first event of the Great Jedi War, the Winds of Change ACC competition. Grading is ongoing but we can say with confidence that Arcona is starting the War with at least one Novae from the event coming out of our House, as well as multiple participation credits! I know we were all getting hyped and ready for the War, as was recently stated in the Grandmaster’s yearly report, it has been delayed for the time being while they get things ‘just right.’ So we’ll see it when we see it.

We had a few medals go out since the last update, as well as a couple of returning members. Highest on that list is Atra’s Amethyst Kukri for his work on the Voice Staff and as Combat Master! Atra works his arse off to make the ACC run as well as it does, this was a very well deserved award and he should receive many headpats and hugs for it.

Competition

• Cards Against Arcona, The Sequel
  It’s time to expand and improve on Arcona’s home made Cards Against Humanity deck! The instructions are in the comp, make White and Black cards for the deck, easy easy easy participation and a lot of fun for our Hangouts!

• Waiting is the Worst Part
  A fiction comp about how your character(s) deal with the build up to the coming war before being stood down indefinitely.

  Season 11 competitions for Diablo 3 are LIVE! Do the thing!

• Atra Ventus received an Amethyst Kukri for his Combat Master and Voice work!

• Rulvak received an Anteian Cross for being a gaming madman!

• Val Cole received an Anteian Cross for being an active gaming awesome person!

• Rodimus (formerly Rod) returns from the Rogues! Welcome back, Rod.

• Zul Zorrander returned from the Rogues as well! Welcome back, sir.

In Closing

So, with the War delayed we find ourselves in a bit of a competition slump, kids, so if you have anything you want to run or want ran, please speak up. We were expecting a competition freeze for the month of August, so pickings are light at the moment.
