Myself

Hello House,

Short report this round. Sorry for my lack of online presence lately. Rest assured I am always lurking and always best reached via email. My Diploma is progressing and taking a good deal of my time and discipline and I have had a few other dramas impact me this month. I am slowly coping better with everything and will continue improving in that area.

Fading Light Nicht Ka

Fading Light is a club-wide Vendetta-type event, pitting every House / Clan (“Clouse”) against each other in a large competition. Individuals also receive cool things, including Nova and Seal medals, personal titles, merit awards, respect and recognition. Winning Clouses receive a number of cool things, including free ships, titles, bragging rights and fame and recognition.

In light of recognition, I’d like to thank the following for their contributions:

  • A’lora Kituri
  • Aerin Taggart
  • Autumn Axiuos
  • Gellm’arco’nuruodo
  • Jason Hunter
  • Ji
  • JScumm
  • Kaira Rohana
  • Kairus
  • Korvyn
  • LaLa
  • Liam Torun
  • Lu`aisha Gresee
  • Mar Sul
  • Nathan Deciarus
  • Revak Kur
  • Rhiann Baenre
  • Sa Ool
  • Seraphol Ceartas
  • Seridan Brehevik
  • Shorurra
  • Solari
  • Zeon Blacktooth

Every Clouse also receives Fleet Points, which are the monetary system for purchasing our House’s fleet of ships and army of troops, based on the number of submissions the members send in. Note that these do not have to be winning submissions - and in many cases, do not even need to be close. A valid submission will still contribute points towards participation scores and calculations that help the House in a big way.

On that note, I’m asking all of you to make a contribution - the puzzle and trivia do not take more than a couple hours each at the most, and even a couple rounds of Pazaak and a basic hexagon-based drawing still counts for participation points for the Gaming and Graphics events. These still contribute a healthy amount of points to our House, not just in terms of Fleet Points, but also for the calculation of submissions vs members that helps to weigh the final scoring in our favor.

There are still a couple of days left and I hope you can all commit time to do at least one event. So far, we have 56 submissions, which is quite an impressive showing; we also have a couple of people sitting on 5/5, which is a remarkable achievement.

Great report!

I just wanted to say that these numbers have since changed. Looking through all of the activity history on the roster, it appears that we are now at 59 submissions. Keep going, guys. There's still a day left to get in your submissions!

Re-check revealed 57 submissions. Still an impressive showing with less than 17 hours left!
