House Galeres Report: Reports from the Road

Key Business

Battleteams and the House

In case you missed it, we’re down to one Battleteam. Tal’mahe’Ra was deactivated and the members were either moved to the House or Nighthawk per their wishes. Nighthawk will continue in its original mission for the House and Clan, while the rest of us train up for the inevitable fight with [insert enemy name here]. As insinuated above, future fictional updates for one or both are nigh… we just don’t know what they are yet.

Wiki Work

We’re still plugging away at the Galeres Wiki and, just like last month, still looking for anyone willing to assist. I know this can be daunting to some folks, but bear in mind that we’re not asking you to take on the whole wiki by yourself. It’s being divided into sections that comprise three major objectives:

• Reorganization: moving bits around to make it easier to read and put the most pertinent info up-front.
• Consolidation: some sections are being combined with others as, individually, they are not as critical as they are on the whole; some other sections are being removed entirely and are under review.
• Updating: the nastiest one of the bunch, this largely has to do with Galeres history that goes back to before I was even in the DJB, and will likely require A) someone with personal experience with the House, and/or B) some dedicated wiki and site diving.

The Cramped Corner

This is where I’ll be putting any news tidbits, big competitions, final notes, et cetera.

Final Notes

Been a busy month for me personally, as well as for the Clan as a whole. Sins III is up and still running — a good way for you guys to nab some crescents. The fiction update should be coming soon, and I am looking forward to it. Galeres things are planned, as said above, but are on hold for one reason or another. ‘Cept the wiki. That’s being worked on right now. Come help!
