Ch-Ch-Changes!

Undisclosed location

Callus threw his datapad across the small cabin of the transport shuttle. The message had been short and succinct. The long and short of it was that Kz’set had answered the call of the Dread Lord and left Callus holding the bag for House Karness Muur. His first insufferable duty was to address the members of the House and keep them to the track on which they had been set. With a sig,h Callus used the Force to call his now shattered datapad to him.

With everything turn, turn, turn.

As I am sure most of you know by now, unless you live under a rock with no internet and don’t check your email, that our “beloved” Quaestor Kz’set has stepped up to the position of Proconsul. Basically now Ajunta Pall gets to listen to his ranting and it won’t be just us. May we take joy in this shared torture.

In all seriousness though, congratulations are in order for Kz’set as he steps into a well deserved position as PCON. I can’t think of anyone else would have been a better choice to fill that very important position. This of course creates a vacancy in the position of QUA for our House. Should any of you desire that position and the accompanying power and responsibilities that follow then feel free to apply. Our Consul has opened applications to the entire club and has a few hard requirements for those who aspire to the position.

As a Quaestor, you'd be a member of the Clan Summit. You would be involved and expected to weigh in on important Clan decisions, as well as in charge of the fictional development of the House. Send in applications to Arden and me. We will be accepting applications until October 3. In terms of hard requirements:

*Strong IRC presence

*24 hour email turnaround

*Minimum rank of EQ1

I know you’ve all been waiting for the next installment of the Fading Light event well get ready because it is coming your way next Friday! I know that whatever the event happens to be that we will make a strong showing and let everyone know that Plagueis is as strong as ever!

Recognition Corner

I would like to take a moment to congratulate Dark Jedi Knight Octavia Morgan Obrie as she steps into the position of Battle Team Leader of Apostles of Syn. As you may know I had been pulling double duty as Aedile and BTL but thankfully Octavia is here to save me from that burden. I would be remiss however if I didn’t give a warm ‘welcome back’ to Starett, a long time member of Clan Plagueis who has returned from his wanderings abroad.

An awesome song by an awesome band. I feel it speaks to where we are as a house and clan right now. We are in an interesting place but as long as we hold the line and keep the faith we will come out alright because things don’t always happen on time. Also interesting factoid about the band Toto, the lead singer is Joseph Williams; son of the legendary John Williams composer of the incomparable Star Wars score, along with Jaws and Indiana Jones to name a few.
