House Sunrider Report #062020

Hello All!

Are you excited? I'm excited!

I'm sure you're all getting tired of hearing us drone on and on about the GJW... how its our biggest event of the year... how everything you do gets us points that keeps us the best damn clan in the club... or F***ING BINS!

Well guess what? It's not over yet!

Phase 1 might be finished, and I would like to thank you all for your contributions and our impressive 80% activity, but Phase 2 is live now and will continue until July 8th.

The GJW Survival Guide

So what are these "Bin" things and how do I complete one? Bins are a collection of competitions of the same type and the way you complete a bin is to do one competition out of it. That's it. When we incessantly hound you to complete as many bins as you can, what we are saying is to do one competition from each one. ONE! Not only that but periodically an email will hit your inboxes with picks of the easiest and quickest competitions. Just click and complete. If you keep submitting to the comps we send you, then in no time you'll have completed almost everything.

  • "But Revak, I'm not a writer" - So what. We aren't looking for the next literary masterpiece here. As long as you roughly follow the objective and get your minimum word count, you'll have something to send in. Plus, you might just surprise yourself with how ideas flow so well from your mind to the keyboard. Bam! First one done.

  • "But Revak, I'm not a gamer" - Ok, I'll give a little leeway here. Nope just kidding. Many games are simple flash games you can play on the same browser you're reading this on. For the more advanced comps that require you to play an actual game, if you don't have it then cool. If you do have it, just get a couple points, screenshot and submit that sucker. Bam! Two down.

  • "But Revak, I'm not an artist" - Oh no you don't. Babies can draw. You can draw. Do you know how many stick figures the organizers sift through? Have you seen any of the stuff Aura or I post on War Chat? Novas they are not. Throw down some digital ink on a white background and send it. Bam! That make's three.

  • "But Revak..." - Nope, here. Bam! Four.

  • "But..." - * glares * Bam! Five and most of the bins are done. Great Job!

  • "But there are group ones? How do I get paired up?" - Fret not! All you need to do is complete THIS FORM or put a word out on the War Chat. Group activities like these, not only allow you to take part in competitions not usually offered, but also allow you to meet your Odan-Urr family and make a few friends.

  • One of the more fun team-based competitions is the Clan Run-On. Odan-Urr is on a civilian rescue and artifact retrieval mission on a rapidly failing platform. Follow the link, add your entry to continue the story, and help us before time runs out!

So that's how you get through this GJW. Good luck!
