Introduction

Greetings and joyous times everyone!

New year, new goals! I hope everyone enjoyed the festivities with family, good food and a much needed reprieve from school and work. With the month now nearing its end we’ll be enjoying some heartwarming competitions very soon!

Now onto the report…

Recap

With the threat of violence from the Pirates brought to a halt by The Third Regiment Marines, the people of Tythas can rest easy. With the stress of keeping the public safe finally dissipated, assisting the new High Councilor and reassuring the people the threat has finally been taken care of has become the top priority.

Fiction

Governers Office, Tythas City

“He's being chased. Hide him in Tythas and put him to work as you see fit." the words of the new High Councilor Mihoshi Keibatsu echoed in Asani's head as she spun in her chair, parroting themselves in her mind like some sort of damaged holo as she considered them. Asani had been assisted by the madam Councilor before and would not deny her any assistance that could be provided to the best of her ability. Yet she felt she was left in the dark about what it might be that was chasing one of her newcomers.

“Hide him and put him to work…” Asani mumbled to herself as she gazed absentmindedly at the decorations in the ceiling, maybe she should redecorate. It felt a bit gaudy and overly decorated for her taste, granted most offices weren’t meant to be shaped like the decks of ships. She couldn’t help but wonder about the Madam's words. A simple enough instruction but the young woman's concern was that it was perhaps much too simple a task. There had to be a catch, some vile sinister thing she wasn’t being made aware of, be it for her safety or the safety of those around her. That much she knew, whatever it was, she hoped it would be less severe than the eventful situations and fires she had been grateful to receive assistance in putting out.

“He probably angered the wrong crowd and needs to lay low for a while, might even have a bounty on his head from a spice trader or a Hutt” she looked over the various documents detailing this Jon Silvon character while she amused herself with the possibilities of why he might’ve been on the run, “wouldn’t that be something…” Asani let out a gentle huff to herself while shaking her head. Perhaps her time in the office had made her more lax, less cautious of the dangers that might creep close.

“Guess I’m playing bodyguard again. At least it's not as bad as last time I had to watch over some fool getting themselves in trouble and making it everyone's problem. Hopefully this one's got a good head on his shoulders, or is a good shot.” She spent some more hours reviewing everything from strategy to paperwork before taking some time to arrange for the new leaders assigned to present themselves to the public.

“Armors polished, weapons ready.” She would let out a deep sigh as if the task was more trouble than it was worth.

“…Better get ready for what lies ahead…”

House/Clan News

I have the most wonderful news to announce!

With much consideration, and assistance, we now have a new Aedile and a new Battle Team Leader! A warm welcome to Jon Silvon and Xantros who will be joining us as Aedile and BTL respectively. We’re thrilled to have them join the team, with fresh ideas and some fresh competitions I’m sure we’ll all have a marvelous time. I'd also like to extend my gratitude to Tarvitz and Seals for all of their help during their tenures as Aedile and BTL. You're both amazing!

#Closing Thoughts

A new year and new journeys await us! I’m excited for all of the new things in store for the clan and for our home here in Sunrider. If you have any suggestions for competitions you would like to run or simply want to suggest fun things that could be done
