Applications Open for Aedile of House Qel-Droma

Our fuzzy Aedile, the fauna fan, the animal admirer, Archian has had to prioritize his increasingly busy life. Having served as Aedile for the better part of this year, all I can say is Thank You and never hesitate to give us a call in case you have more problems with poachers! Archian was a most dependable and energetic Aedile and he came through in some sharp time crunches to save a drowning lek. I am also surely not alone in mentioning his infectious good energy and enthusiasm, which I hope we will continue to enjoy even as he bears the cloak of a "rank-and-file" member.

With Archian stepping down, however, it means that a new Aedile is required! Could it be you? Apply and find out!

Although technically above the position of Battleteam Leader, the Aedile position is considered an intro-level leadership position. The tasks of the Aedile are supporting the Quaestor in their monthly duties, shaping the fictional direction of House Qel-Droma, running events (both competition and RP focused), and generally acting as an example for the rest of the House to follow!

Responsibilities include:

• Fostering activity
  
• Assist QUA in monthly reporting
  
• Assist in running comps and other activities to help keep members engaged
  
• Reward the peeps for doing the deeds
  
• Scheme with the QUA to shape the narrative future of House Qel-Droma
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who is reasonably active on Discord, with a 24 hour turnaround time for PMs and emails
  
• A willingness to lead by example by organizing/participating in at least 5 competitions per month
  
• A willingness to work as part of a team
  
• Willingness to run, or co-run RP events (not a hard requirement, but a definite merit!)
  
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, but not a requirement
