For this report, we will focus on reviewing House Qel-Droma’s efforts and contributions to Great Jedi War XVII, and celebrate our members' awards and accolades.

I also want to take a second to welcome our new members: Viyl (aka the eldest Orvling) and her friend Kamari. Keep beating your Dad in puzzles, but I also hope you find some other things you enjoy about the club. Welcome aboard!

GJW XVII Results

For any who might just be joining us, or were taking a long nap, or were, like Strat, only made aware there was a war going on the day of—Arcona remains First Clan of the Brotherhood! And that accomplishment, in large part, was due to the legendary efforts of every member of House Qel-Droma.

So for starters, here is a pretty infographic I definitely didn’t spend hours on despite using Figma’s AI coding tool that highlights all your amazing work. Mostly, I want to shout out Orv who not only lead House Qel-Droma, but also is Arcona’s First Hero of GJW XVII.

Big shoutout to everyone who did at least 1 competition for participation.

It might not seem like a big deal, but if you look at the % across Phase I, Phase II, and Event Long competitions, Arcona had the highest % of participation effort. That doesn’t happen without everyone pulling their own weight. While it might not seem as flashy, it’s still important and none of this success is really possible without each of you that stepped up.

For those less visual and more interested in data science, here is a Gemini breakdown of our performance data.

Dominance of Top Performers and Score Composition

The overall standings are heavily driven by a few top performers who excelled across multiple competitive categories. The Event Long Placement served as the largest overall source of points for the group.

• Top Performers: The top 5 members by total score are:

  • Orv Dessrx
  • Legend Wally
  • General Socorra Tenebrosa Nhar’qual Erinos
  • Dr. Ben
  • Aedile Tali Sroka

• Individual Dominance: Orv Dessrx single-handedly dominated the event by securing the highest score in every single placement category: Event Long Placement (367.567), Phase I Placement (286.405), and Phase II Placement (236.182).

* Category Point Contributions: Across the entire group, Event Long Placement contributed the most points (1,332.17 points), followed by Phase I Placement (1,007.84 points), Phase II Placement (764.03 points), and Participation Points (508.00 points).

Participation Efforts

There is a strong connection between consistent participation and high placement scores, dividing the members into clear engagement tiers.

• High-Participation Tier: There are 7 members who achieved the maximum participation score of 56 points: Orv Dessrx, Legend Wally, General Socorra Tenebrosa Nhar’qual Erinos, Dr. Ben, Aedile Tali Sroka, Terran Koul, and Lucine Vasano. Six of these seven individuals make up the top overall scorers.
• 9 members successfully scored points in both the Event Long and Phase I Placements.

Team Players

A few members demonstrated exceptional efficiency, climbing the ranks with high placement scores despite relatively low participation.

• The Floof Outlier: Mune Cinteroph is the most notable outlier, ranking 6th overall with a Total Score of 198.100 despite having only 13 Participation Points. This impressive standing was driven entirely by a massive Event Long Placement score of 185.100.
• Team Support: Soryn Volkova achieved a Total Score of 94.208 with only 16 Participation Points, outperforming several members with higher participation due to a strong Event Long Placement score of 78.208.

Recognition with Revs
