Introduction and News

Happy Sept. 15th to you all! As has been the usual included herein is the first report of your mentally deranged new Knight-Commander. My name is Seraphol Ceartas, and Ill be sharing my particular brand of insanity with you all. Just an FYI, if this looks weird its because I am new at all this markdown stuff. Mad props to Turel for giving me a draft of what he used and advice on how to do this.

Speaking of Turel as you all have heard by now he has left HOU for House Qel Droma in Arcona. I know this decision wasnt made on a whim, and is hard on him. Turel is a great leader and will do great in bringing both his and HOU’s command philosophy to Arcona and the Brotherhood at large!

In other news Raken has stepped down as DGM and former GM and Voice, Pravis has stepped into the spotlight. Raken was a good man and his ideas have paved the way for many GJW’s and Vendetta’s in the DJB. Taking Pravis’ position of Voice is Telaris Cantor, aka Mav. Grats to him on his new position!

Lastly, Affliction! Our AED, GW Mirus Hi’ija, has designed a small wargame for us to warm up our skills for the upcoming, and final round of Fading Light next month. More information below.

Affliction

Affliction is an inter-unit wargame. This will pit ourselves against each other in a twisted game of Dark v. Light. If you havent already sign up for the side you wish HERE. Afterwards make sure you sign up on the website for each event. This will run for two weeks with a fiction and gaming event spanning both weeks. The first week will see trivia and graphics. Winners for each event will receive 3rd level crescents. Also it is rumored that your decisions may play a part in our House history.

Closing

I just want to thank the House Summit for this opportunity to serve with them. I also want to extend a future thanks to the KoA team. Leadership, at all levels, is the chance to serve YOU. Without the membership in KoA I wouldnt be in this position. That being said, I run an open team. I plan to keep the majority of things the same as Turel, with a few tweeks. I wont go into too much detail right now as I hope you will be swamped with Affliction. Expect a few mails here and there to each of you asking what you are expecting to gain from this team.

Again I want to thank Turel for his time in KoA, personally he was the one that sparked me wanting to become active again. In turn I want to get each of you up and running again with us in any way that I can. Until next time….
