Introduction and News

Happy 2 days after the Ides of September! This report is brought to you by Strep bacteria, antibiotics, and steroids! Seriously though, strep throat sucks, but on the good note it gave me 2 days off of work to play games all day!

As Im sure youve all noticed by the sheer number of emails, Fading Light Round 3, aka Nicht Ka, is upon us! At the current time HOU is showing strong with several members coming out for gaming. As for the other events, I dont have anything solid, but we have reports of many working on their fiction. More information about FL3 below!

Affliction has come and gone. We saw many of our numbers brought low by a Sith Artifact. In the end we were redeemed by the Light and we have the efforts of our Rollmaster, JK Rhiann Baenre to thank! KoA had a strong showing with Shorurra, myself, Gresee, and Ji making several appearances on the field.

Since August we have seen KoA grow by 2 members with the joining of JK Shorurra, and SSH Ji joining. Sadly we lost DIS T’Espera to CNS. She followed her Master Kaayn Salis as he was selected to become their new RM. Sad to see people leave HOU, but its nice to get our thought process and beliefs out to the Brotherhood at large. We have also seen the introduction of JK Shorurra as KoA Sgt. Since the position was open I felt that KoA needed a strong junior member to help with the BT. Lastly, this past week I emailed everyone with a short document explaining the expectations of each part of this unit. I want to make it understood I do not want anyone to leave KoA, but at the same time we are progressing to make KoA the Vendetta unit. We need active participants for this, and as such there is a degree of activity I ask everyone to maintain. However, when things crop up as they do, all I ask is an email explaining that you will be out of things for the period of time you need.

Nicht Ka

Fading Light: Nicht Ka is the final stage of our DJB wide assault on the One Sith. As a Jedi unit we normally abstain from such direct activities to help the Dark Side. In this case it has been deemed that the threat of the One Sith is much greater than the threat of the Brotherhood. Some mystics have foreseen a great conflict between the One Sith and the galaxy in the coming generations.

Nicht Ka covers several events such as Gaming, Fiction, Graphics, Trivia, and Puzzles. The competition information can be found HERE! While I cannot go into detail on the trivia and puzzles, I advise you to sit down with about 30-45 minutes for each event. All the answers for trivia can be found on the WIKI and VOICE reports.

Those of us in leadership are only here, because you allow us to be, we are here to serve YOU. That being said all we should ever ask of you is to give your best in events that are put out. No one should ever tell you that you shouldnt do something just because they think your efforts are not good enough. Every great artist/writer/thinker wasnt the best at what they did straight out. It took time, patience, and practice.

All I ask of yall is to do what you can, and to try something new. You did when you joined an internet club full of people who wanted to imagine they were lightsaber wielding badasses in a Galaxy far, far away. I just ask you take a leap of faith and do it again.
