Odan-Urr Rollmaster Report #3

Daleem, Kiast System

Courtyard, Satele-Shan Base of Operations

Corvus had visited the Base before, of course. But only now did he begin to appreciate its effectiveness. Its location is unique, isolated from the Vatali, but likewise important to the Governor. The skies above were blue, and the complex was well-built. The courtyard wasn’t bustling with activity, but it was still busy. People from all over were here, in the process of setting up stalls, greeting friends, or training. The wide-open space didn’t seem clustered or cramped. The clouds above were darkening, though, threatening lightning.

It appeared that a portion of New Tython survivors had settled close by, and were now working closely with the House. It was good that they were beginning to rebuild, to reincarnate a great community. They took over one part of the market, all with decent goods for sale. As he passed them, he overheard a familiar voice, its rolling timbre unchanged.

Fraencis Kawetci was tinkering with a circuit board, sitting behind a makeshift parts stall. Corvus leaned against the side of the stall. “Fraencis Kawetci, former weapons merchant, and part-time emissary between Menat Ombo and Seher?” Corvus resumed his New Tythonian personality - a very jovial and curious facade, which would win people’s trust but not imprint him in people’s memory. Good for gathering information whilst remaining incognito.

The man looked up from his motherboard and peered down at Corvus. It took a few moments for his expression to clear as he exclaimed, “Chorvax! Wonderful to see you again! You finally lost your Padawan braid, congratulations! How’s the wife?”

Member of the month: Turel Sorenn

I’ve picked Turel because he is consistently one of the most active members, and this is commendable when you realise he runs the Clan as well. He’s been made a Councillor of Urr, a title much deserved. Congrats, Turel!

Projects

Wiki Work

We are reviving, once again, the Clan Wiki Project, in which we rejuvenate, update, and create our Clan wiki pages. This time, we’re in a fairly new environment, so there is a lot to do in order to finish. At this point, I am reaching out to find people who are willing to contribute to the project, and help out. If you are interested, please take a minute to fill out this form, or let me know on Telegram or by email.

Leadership Guide

Xantros and his team, Xolarin and Edgar, have completed a wonderful Leadership Guide. Twenty pages long, it encompasses every aspect of leadership, with advice, tips and tricks to help leaders of all levels along. Huge thanks go to the guys who completed this mammoth document, it is fantastic! Please take a look at it here.

If you wish, Xantros has also made a short series of test questions for you to try. You can find them here. Email me to check your answers!

Project Zirael

The observant among you may have noticed that Zirael has been without a BTL for a month or two now. Zirael’s future has been a topic avidly discussed by the Summit, and as such, I plan on releasing a specialised communique later this week to describe what’s happening with Zirael and why.

Master-Student Program

I’ve already had a number of responses - thank you :) Recently, we have had quite a few active JMs join us, which means that one or two more potential Masters would we greatly appreciated.

If you would like to help mentor a JM to Knighthood, then I highly recommend filling in the form below! :D

If you would like to be a Master, or a Student, then please complete this form.

In October, I made a pairing between Sa and Hiset - and earlier today, Hiset was promoted to Jedi Knight! Congrats, man!

Recently, another M / S pairing came to fruition - a few weeks ago Tarvitz was promoted to Knight - great job, man! Congrats to you and Edgar :)

We’ve made three new Master / Student pairings in the past few days as well - Yuki Suoh and Zanothi Nightblade, Edgar Drachen and Dreith Droheden, and our most recent pairing is Vadin Cal and Ti-kour. I wish you all the best of luck! Congratulations, I hope everything goes well!

Final Thoughts

This month, we’ve had quite a lot of new members, and most of them are active and awesome people! We’ve also started to come out from our lull in activity, which is awesome :D Keep at it, guys!

Corvus Corax, Rollmaster
