Welcome to Report #1

First thing is first: our past. This year has obviously been a struggle for us in Plagueis. Not because of anything you have done, or I have done. Circumstances, unfortunate or opportunity, have led Plagueis to have the smallest roster in the Brotherhood. Despite this! We had remarkably decent participation in the GJW and managed to finish fifth and had Vizsla within reach.

We ADAPT.

That’s because of you. That’s because you stepped up, which brings me to the theme of my tenure as Consul.

What You Do Matters

It’s a simple concept, but it carries a lot of weight. Because it applies to everybody!

• The member who writes one fiction a month.
• The gamer who plays 3 nights a week.
• The wiki editor fixing broken links.
• The summiteer who is answering questions and creating competitions for you.
• The newcomer who enters their first competition.

Every competition entered, every word written, every game played, every edit, every member mentors, and every comp run or participated in: none of it is wasted. We are built on one contribution at a time. No one person carries this Clan. Plagueis will succeed because two dozen people choose, day after day after day, to invest their time in one another.

Clan Honorifics & the Future of di Plagia

In Report Zero, I covered that the Dark Council assigned each Clan with making its titles have clearly defined, objective criteria. We, the di Plagia, and the Summit, have taken this opportunity to formalize the requirements for di Plagia, our highest Clan distinction recognizing exception service to Plagueis.

Effective immediately, members will become eligible candidates for di Plagia upon meeting both of the following criteria:

• Earn 2.5 Million Clan Credits, contributed to Clan Plagueis
• Demonstrate at least six months of sustained activity that XP awarded (site and non-site), that they would qualify for a Sapphire Blade.

In recognition of the significant time and effort required to serve in Clan leadership, the Clan Credit requirement is reduced by 250,000 Clan Credits for every six months of service on the Clan Summit. This acknowledges that Summit members often devote substantial effort to administrative duties that benefit the Clan, but may not always translate into Clan Credit earnings at the same rate as other forms of activity.

These criteria ensure that the title of di Plagia remains a meaningful distinction, while also making the path to earning it transparent for every member.

When a candidate reaches the threshold required, the Consul will present evidence of this to the di Plagia. Once it has been reviewed and confirmed by at least one member of the di Plagia, excluding the sitting Consul, if applicable, the candidate shall be acclaimed and awarded the Clan title.

We have not yet had a discussion on the removal of a Clan title, but it is not a priority at this time. However, we HAVE had a discussion about the acclimation of a member to the ranks of the Honored di Plagia.

A New di Plagia

There is one particular individual who has performed absolutely exemplary since joining us here in Clan Plagueis. We’re talking 3.2M Credits earned for Plagueis. 634 Competitions entered. A Ruby Scepter, 2 Novae, 192 Crescents, an SI, and a whopping 302 Clusters of Graphite, all since he joined Plagueis.

He’s also served in the Plagueis Summit now for 15 months, which reduces the threshold to 2M, which he VASTLY cruses. Activity in the last six months? He has enough XP for an Amethyst Kukri for heaven’s sake.

I presented the objective threshold markers to the di Plagia yesterday morning and he was confirmed.

IT’S PROBOWL SEASON!

Planning for Pro Bowl X is well underway, and this year's event will take us back into the Cor’neria system for the event I’m casually naming, The Cor’neria Cleanup. Veterans of previous Pro Bowls will find the familiar mix of cross-Clan teamwork, friendly rivalry, and a wide variety of competitions that make the event one of the Brotherhood's annual highlights.

Whether you're a gamer, writer, artist, puzzle solver, or simply looking for a reason to jump back into activity, there will be opportunities for everyone to contribute. As always, participation is every bit as important as placement, so I encourage everyone to get involved when the competitions begin.

• Week Zero will start on September 27 (the day before my 40th birthday)

Conquest

Tra’an asks: What is a new competition idea you want to try?

What is this thing I see in the competition list? Conquest. Plagueis is expanding its influence with the use of Propaganda, The Markets, and crushing Resistance. Help Plagueis march forward and finally add Ahch To to our sphere of influence (note: seriously though, check out how close we are to it. How did Luke Skywalker never notice us?) How CAN you help? I'm glad you asked.

Activity Diversification! You don’t have to do anything special. Just continue your activity levels and the Summit will take care of awarding you for it in the form of competition, but this is the caveat. You must diversify your activity to qualify for placement in any of these comps. What does that mean?

250 Words typed, 15 CFs, 6 Competitions entered (excluding conquests). You will have to reach all three of those thresholds in a month to qualify for placement. You will receive points based on placement, reaching the base threshold, and then MOAR points for every time you surpass the threshold again!

Tra’an asks: What kind of comp do you hate? And what is your favorite animal?

I hate Battleplans. Not that I don’t find them cool or rewarding, nono. I think they’re a lot of fun to do. They just take FOREVER. And even though the whole thing looks badass when you’re done, it was still 39 hours you’ll never get back. You could get a pretty shiny, though!

My favourite animal has evolved over time. First the Cheetah because zoom. Then the Peregrin Falcon because ZOOMIER. Now it is Bear. Will I die when I try cuddle him? Yes. Is he still friend-shaped? Yes.
