Three Weeks Down

We have recently finished week three of the 11th Great Jedi War and got a little less than a week to go. While we don't yet have results of the first round of events, I must say I was quite happy with our participation levels. In round one, Plagueis netted over 60 entries, which equates to better than 1.5 entries per person. Viv and I are quite satisfied with those numbers. Quite satisfied indeed.

However, the war is not yet over and is far from won. We have another round going on as we speak as well as team events. I know at least one of our run-on teams have finished and the others are plodding away towards a strong finish. These events, as well as those for round two, need to be finished and submitted by Sunday at Midnight GMT/7 PM EST/4 PM PST. As of the typing of this report, we have recorded 30 entries for round two. That's less than half of last round and I know we can meet if not exceed that number. If you're having trouble getting inspired, need someone to proofread, or are on a team that's not moving along as well as it should, let Viv or I know and we'll help the best as we can. And so it's clear, effort counts in this endeavor, at least to Viv and I. It doesn't matter if you don't think your fiction will place, give it a shot anyway. If you can't draw well by hand/at all, doesn't matter. I know my graphic is bad, Viv's I doubt will be any better. But we sent them in anyway if for no other reason than to give Soccora a chuckle.

Oh, and since it's become a thing lately, I wanted to reemphasize a point. Don't cheat at gaming, really, please don't. It's not worth it and it doesn't do you or the unit any good. In fact, if you even think something might be wrong, don't do it. If you see someone else doing something questionable, contact Valhavoc immediately.

Moment of Zen and Musical Interlude

OK, I confess, I'm a sportsball loving type who actually watched the football portion of the Super Bowl. I couldn't help but pick a Katy Perry song for the musical interlude for this report. However, I've tried to pick an appropriate song for the occasion. When we won the Crusade, we did so as an underdog. Nobody expected us to win, but we did. After our stumble in Fading Light, we're the underdogs again. We have to go out and prove to everyone we can take all comers. In short, we must come at them like a Dark Horse. Heck, I'll keep it coming. We have the eye of the tiger. We were champions and can be so again. Let everyone hear us Roar.

I'll keep to the Super Bowl theme with the MoZ too. There was a near universal love for one part of the halftime show, the dancing sharks. I suppose I could go with them here, but I won't. I'm going to go with a real dancing shark instead!

Signing off, from the Bug Cave.

Good report. Bad music from Perry at halftime.

Keep it up Plagueis. We can win the war again.
