Hello, everyone, and welcome to your Proconsul's eighth report. If you're wondering why I'm posting this on the 25th instead of the 5th as I normally do, it's because your Conseal is off on a boat somewhere, having fun without us. Don't hold it against him when he gets back!

Without further ado, let's start this thing.

Rite of Supremacy: Meridian

The Rite of Supremacy ended last week, just before the Thanksgiving holiday. I know some of you did your best to submit to all of the bins, while others of you had to deal with real life snags (Hooray, California wildfires and illness!). Either way, thank you to all of you in Plagueis for your efforts as we've navigated this event.

Fair warning: I will be fairly candid regarding how I think we did and how I think we're doing, so as you keep reading, buckle up and get ready for some real talk.

So, How Did We Do?

Obviously, we don't have the specific metrics yet for every single competition and every single bin. I have been able to look at some of the stats and compare our participation with other clans' participation, and while in some areas we did really well, in others...not so much.

Now I know some of you right now are going, "But Wrathovi! Aren't we the smallest clan in the Brotherhood right now?" And you're absolutely correct, but! The participation scales do take into consideration the size of our units. So for example, if 10 out of 40 Plagueis members participated in one event as opposed to 10 out of 60 Generic Clan members, our ratio of participation is much higher (25% participation versus ~16.6%). Because of this, we could technically have fewer participants while still nailing participation rates based on our numbers. The Dark Council has certainly taken that into account.

Even so, there is a word I would use for how I saw our participation for this RoS. That word is:

Middling.

What does that mean, exactly? Does it mean 3rd place? 4th place? 5th place? Whatever the case, we have to be prepared for the results and ready for action if we did not get the placement we desired. If you want something, folks, you gotta fight for it.

I don't want to focus too much on participation or stats or numbers right now, though, as what's done is done. I do want to thank those of you again who worked hard during the RoS and tried to make Plagueis the best of the best. I have been Proconsul for almost eight months now and would not have stuck around so long were it not for the incredible membership of our clan. You make my job here absolutely worthwhile.

Moar Hype?!

Just because the Rite of Supremacy is over, Plagueians, does not mean the fun's ended! Because I have taken on Arden's report slot for the time being, I do want to announce a new clan event that is in the works for all y'all to enjoy. What is this competition, you ask? A few facts about it, though I don't want to give too much away:

1. It is a low-key, low-pressure event with fun little competitions and writing prompts.
2. It will run from Monday, December 3rd, to Monday, December 17th, with new events each week.
3. It's holiday-themed.

Yes, your Wrath is organizing and will put on a two-week Plagueis Holiday event! And you can help right now by suggesting a catchy and thematically appropriate event name. Just reply to this report on the main Brotherhood website with your ideas, and if yours is the best, we'll use it. So be creative! Potential names I've already received are:

Closing Thoughts

Couple of things here: First of all, I will be retiring the "Good Idea, Bad Idea," segment of my report. It got a bit stale, and a lot of the advice I was giving was just obvious in nature. Still, part of my job as Proconsul is to prep you all to become great leaders in your own right, so don't think I won't be checking in and helping out with all questions or concerns related to mentorship or leadership.

Second of all, I am looking forward to what we have in store for the clan, especially in the new year. I'll let your Conseal give more details once he gets back from his vacay. In the meantime, don't forget to suggest potential names for our upcoming holiday event!
