Staff Changes

The end of the first week of August brought change to the Plagueis Summit. Khryso Mallus came to me to let me know that he would be needing to step away as Quaestor of House Tyranus. It cannot be understated how much of his finger prints are on Tyranus as a unit, from both his excessive levels of activity to the masterful work he has done on the House lore. Fort Tyranus owes its very existence to his work, and he will be missed. I know that he still has many chapters to write for himself in the Brotherhood, and while he steps away from leadership it seems like he will still be hanging around to make his presence felt. I would advise everyone to read his recent Amethyst Kukri recommendation for just some of what he has meant to us here in the Ascendant Clan and on our summit.

After some discussion with Alaris, we both came to the conclusion that with no incumbent Aedile to smooth any transition it would be best to bring in an experienced, veteran leader to take over given the Pro Bowl on the horizon (spoilers!). As such, I'd like to welcome Raiju Kang to the Plagueis summit as the new Tyranus Quaestor. Raiju has an exceedingly long resume in the DB, having served as Consul, Proconsul, Quaestor, Aedile. You name it, he's done it. Heck, he was even Alaris's first Aedile when the latter took over House Satal Keto right here in Plagueis back in the time before fire was invented. Raiju has let me know that he's going to be reaching out to the members of House Tyranus forthwith to get better acquainted with his new members!

The other big news is the second annual Aliso Summer Festival being hosted by Qormus. There is still just under 24 hours left in Week One, so there's still time to get those entries in. There will be two more weeks of the Festival, with week 3 running through the 28th of this month. It's a great way to get some easy competition participations, and I know I had fun with those week one events. Remember, everyone, you all want to make your summit's life harder by making them write even bigger and bigger reward recommendations!
