New Proconsul, Same as the Old Proconsul

When Qormus originally needed to step away from the Proconsul position, Teylas was the one to step up into the job to keep things on the rails in the Ascendant Clan. But, it was his and my understanding that his tenure would be one that was by definition a bridge to the next long term candidate.

Teylas has had an excellent career in the Brotherhood, already serving as one of the best and longest tenured Consuls the Clan had ever seen. His plans didn't include taking over from me in the future when my time comes to step down, and I was thankful to have his help to ensure that as we rolled into the new year (with Ascending Confederacy and a Clan Feud on the Horizon) without any speed bumps. But, we were always on the lookout for the Next Big Thing, as it were, in the form of someone that could take the baton and ensure the future of Plagueis. Interestingly enough, that ended up being somebody from the past. Just the much, much more recent past.

Recently, Qormus approached me to let me know that the circumstances that had taken him away from the Proconsul job were finally getting back onto a somewhat even keel. He said that, while he knew there wasn't any position open currently, that he'd like to be kept in mind for any jobs that came open in the future as it had always been his desire to give back to Clan Plagueis. It was, honestly, the turn of events that I had been secretly hoping for. With that, Teylas and I came to the decision that it would be great to bring Qormus back on as PCON given the high level of success that he'd shown in the job the last time he had it. That, and it'd be a shame to waste all that indoctrination training that he'd gotten in the job previously.

So with that I'd like to welcome Qormus back to the summit in the job he's done so well in, that of Proconsul of Clan Plagueis.

Competition: May the Fourth

Just a reminder still that the first week of the May the Fourth 2023 is just about over, but there are still two more weeks to go for this competition series. A big thanks to the Praetor Swarm for putting this event together, and I hope everyone in Plagueis is enjoying the competitive offerings just as much as I am!
