Greetings Taldryan,

Most of you already have met me in some fashion, be it official or otherwise. I’ve been around the Brotherhood for what, to me, seems a long time. Howie laughs every time I talk about how long I think I’ve been around. I keep him nearby most times to help me feel young. Normally my report won’t follow Best Aiden’s report so closely, and we’ll try to cover different things in each of them. I’m really excited to get going with mine, because mine has opportunities for you!

Wiki

Over the next few months, I’m going to be diving into Taldryan’s Wiki articles and start updating them and prepping them for our fictional future. What does that mean for you? I don’t want to do it by myself. I’m going to be looking for A Few Good Men and Women to help me out with this. I will be opening up the call to those who are looking for some promotion incentive, especially Journeymen looking for some Clan level work to get themselves involved in.

With Breaking Point wrapped up and Best Aiden working through the submissions to give us our winners, I finally get to announce my little pet project.

Alaris’s Series of Series

Starting December 1st, my three competition series will launch, and if you’re all really good, you’ll get a fourth, too. Flash Games, Regular Gaming, and Fiction are all featured. Participate through all of them and place high enough and you have a chance for a BIG shiny at the end of the twelve weeks. It’s pretty simple. Fictions will be 750 words max, Flash Games won’t take too long, and with a different game featured every week, you’ll wanna get your gaming in.

Alaris’s Flash Game Series will launch December 1st, Alaris’s Gaming Series starts December 6th, and Alaris’s Fiction Series starts December 12th. Nice staggered starts, so you’re not cramming them all into one day.

Fiction Post-Breaking Point

Aiden and I have hashed a basic fictional direction for the Clan, but we still want to hear from you. Fill out this form and give us your two cents. We want to hear from you. This Clan is what it is because of its members. You are the most important “possession,” more important than any ship or soldier that we get to buy, and you don’t cost us a single credit.

Another Moment with Alaris

This is the part of my report where I leave the DB behind and talk a little about my real life. It may be a funny anecdote, an un-funny anecdote, or a rant of some kind. Those who have read my reports from the past will be familiar with this, those of you who aren’t will learn to skip it, too. In due time.

I just got a PS4. This is awesome for me because although I’ve spent the last few years as a PC gamer predominantly, there are some games that are just much more fun on console. I’ve just finished my first playthrough of Dishonored 2 (Emily/Low Chaos) and I’m working through Mirror’s Edge Catalyst right now, which is gorgeous game and more fun than the first thanks to the free roam concept.

But Rocket League. I know. I know. It’s been out forever, but I am only just discovering how glorious a game this is. It is a stupid amount of fun and if you haven’t played it, get it. It’s pretty cheap and has a very simple concept (soccer with cars).

The long and short of it is that I’ve spent about $1000 in a very short period entirely on games that my friends have kept telling me to buy. Don’t have Battlefront yet, but I imagine it’s only a matter of time.
