Pcon Report 2 Electric Boogaloo

No, that joke is never going to not be a thing. Hello, everyone! Welcome to my second Proconsul report! The Rite of Supremacy finished a few weeks back, and I've got a lot to go through.

Ektrosis Quaestor

As I'm sure all of you know, when I moved into the Proconsul position, I left the position of Ektrosis Quaestor, and the House has been leaderless since. I'm sure this is the one you are all clicking on the report to see, so without further delay…

Please join me in congratulating Teebu Nyrrire as Ektrosis' newest Quaestor! May the Force have mercy on you all.

I'm kidding, of course. (or am I?) Teebu came forward with some excellent ideas in his application, and myself and Erinyes look forward to working with Teebu, and are excited to see how those ideas progress. He has been relentless in sharing his creativity with us in regards to his ideas, and trust me when I say I'm excited to see them come to fruition!

But wait! There's more!

As most of you are aware, I was also Ektrosis' last Aedile. Unfortunately for all of you, that position has now been filled by the recently promoted Major (pain in the ass) Crysenia Orainn! She put forward an impressive application, and Aedile feels like the perfect position for her to really set her foot into Clan level leadership. Congratulations to you too!

So, for the first time in a while, Ektrosis has a Quaestor and Aedile once again! Myself and Erin look forward to working with you both on the Taldryan summit.

Look at all the shiny new things!

So, following getting SECOND PLACE in the RoS (seriously, you guys are awesome) we came into a lot of credits, like, over 100 million credits. The Mandaboo in me was very, very, VERY, happy to see that much money in our hands.

Following receiving that money (thank you, Noobis) we reached out to you guys in terms of what you'd like to see in the Clan possessions. I'm happy to say that we managed to grab a little bit of everything you asked for!

Those possessions include, but are not necessarily limited too…

• 5 First Order Light Cruisers
• 1 Raider II
• 4 squadrons T/Bs
• 2 squadrons T-70 X-wings
• 2 flights Decimators (I hope you are happy, Jorm.)
• 1 flight Kom’rks (Mandaboo's unite!)

The Ember Swarm

As most of you know, the [Taldryan Auxilary Divisions] exist as a unique way for your characters to interact within our little corner of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. We have the Community Outreach, responsible for putting Taldryan in a good light to outsiders and the general public, the Mystics, whom Erinyes once described as our "Krathy Division." They are the Seers of our Clan. Then there's the military etc etc you get the General idea. The point of them is to give our characters unique ways to interact with other members and the world in which we create, and now there's a new one!

Enter, The Ember Swarm!

They are led by everyone's favourite lunatic with a smile, Jorm "The Jester" Na'trej.

So, what is the Ember Swarm? Well, in Jorm's own words; *"In a nutshell, a boatload of Decimators trained in scaling swarm/wolfpack blitzkrieg tactics by Jorm. They act as a TAL sponsored pirate group and do openly criminal sithspit no entity with even a flimsy claim to legitimacy should have any ties to.

...he might have scoured a few prisons to fill out the roster.*"

As you can see, if your character is the type to deal in shady underworld things and likes being a pirate, (or just like Decimators) then the Ember Swarm Auxiliary Division is for you!

Obviously, if you have glanced at the wiki page, you will have noticed it is out of date. We will get that updated soon to include the new division.

So… what's next?

Following the Unchained attack in the Caelus System, our base of operations moved to Ostara, the jungle moon of Perune that can best be described as the Endor of the Caelus System. (We even have our own Ewok now!)

That being said, we are looking to do some worldbuilding, at both the House and Clan level to flesh out our new home. (Before we are inevitably attacked again.) So stay tuned for that!

Honestly? I gave this some thought, and you know how Iron Man's suit flies to him and gets put on as he's falling in the first Avengers movie? Something like that would be awesome!

Rancor's are like writing desks because their hides are tough and take a lot of punishment.

How many toes do you have? Do you know the difference between red-orange and orange-red? How many fingers am I holding up? I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100, what is it? (It's definitely not 15) But like seriously, how are you?

How are you enjoying your role as Proconsul? Best parts? What could you do better?

If I say any number other than 10, how freaked out would you be?

I'm good! I'm enjoying being Pcon so far. Best part is Tal getting second in the Rite of Supremacy. I know it was a different format and all that, but it was a major accomplishment. As for what I could do better? Hmm... I could run better comps. Be more creative with that for the Clan. I know I can do it, I need to up my game on that front. Create more discussions in here. This place goes from dead quiet to very active in a heartbeat, then drops off again. Worldbuilding for Taldryan. We moved HQ recently so there's lots to be done there too.

• Noobis asks: When Erin decides her time is up and decides to step down do you plan to apply for Consul, and if so what do you think your prospects are for being chosen? What is your reasoning for each?

I do plan to apply for CON, yes. As for my prospects for being chosen? That's a tough one to say because it depends on what Evant and Bubba are looking for in a leader of a Clan.

If I had to put my best foot forward right this second, I'd say because I like to have fun with people I.e; I'm a community guy, look at all the questions I ask in various channels over the past year or so. I've never really been in leadership for myself. I know that sounds strange considering leadership is one of the best ways to "level up" if you like, but ever since I was a BTL, I've enjoyed making things for other people. Sure, being awarded is nice, but uts never been my top priority. Once you are a Con, or any summit member for that matter, your responsibility is to the members you look after first and foremost regardless of your own ambitions. That's how I see it, anyways.

Lastly, I'm active. I realise that's going to get a big "duh" out of some of you, but for a leader, I think it's a big deal. If you want your members to be active, you have to be willing to be active yourself. Lead by example. I believe in that quite strongly.

OK, there is one more thing... most of the stuff above... is stuff I've been told by other members. Its kinda like Erin when she applied for CON and she had a lot of support for it. I do have support for me getting CON. Obviously, whether or not that's important, I'm not sure. But every little bit helps.

• Kamjin asks: If you were to conquer another clan which would you conquer and why?

Vizsla. Appius was from Vizsla originally, and he knows how powerful Mandalorians can be. He knows their moral code, how they operate, so taking them over and creating a home in Tal would be quite cool.

Also, Pravin once described Tal as Vizsla's sister Clan. I'm not sure why, but... shrugs
