Regent Report #9.1 - Staff Opening and What's Ahead

Magistrate Position Open

There comes a time in every staffer’s tenure when it’s time to hang it up, if even for a little while. Teebu will be stepping down from his role as M:RGT.

Teebu has been an instrumental part of our team for a very long time. There are a great number of projects that would not have seen the finishline without his help. Recently, He was responsible for overhauling and loosening of our Aspect policy. This change happened because of him. I cannot express how grateful I am for all the effort he’s put in over the years. While I’m sad to see him go, I’m certain that he’ll be back in the future. Thank you for everything my friend!

That leaves me in need of a new Magistrate. I am looking for someone who can come in, learn quickly, and help contribute to clearing up the massive stacks of work we have ahead of us.

New Clan Vessels

In the wake of the elimination of The Collective and the end of GJW XVII, I have added DB versions of The Collective’s vessels. Not all of them made the cut, but I’ve added in some of the more interesting options. These are now available to purchase at Arx Fleet Systems.

What’s next?

As we wind down from the GJW, I just want to give some insight into what we’re presently working on.

1) Upgrades Booster - The Upgrades for all release earlier this year was a huge success. It really opened up the customizability of our items. We’re looking to expand this. We presently have a 30+ item booster in the works. This booster will contain a whole new range of upgrades for weapons, armor, and droids. Stay tuned for this

2) Custom Space Stations - This project is also nearing conclusion. This project is near and dear to me. I think this will provide some awesome customizability for Clan assets. By my math, this will allow over 43 million possible combinations for Clan Space stations. Best part is, it’ll be easy to expand in the future

3) Space Vehicle and Land Vehicle Slot clean up - When we originally did upgrades, we didn’t foresee things changing so much over the years. Ultimately, the system works great, but it leaves us with something rather unsightly.

Gross, right? We’re going to be cleaning up how the component slots appear. As a word of warning, this might end up kicking your upgrades out of your ships. An announcement will be made prior to us beginning this work. It’s a minor inconvenience, to get rid of some ugliness.

4) Lifeday - The Regent’s Staff will be hosting Lifeday again this year. We’ve settled on a theme and we hope to go bigger than ever!
