SARLACC Results

Before I breakdown the results of the SARLACC competition let me start off by thanking all those who participated in matches, proofed matches for their peers and cheered on their friends. None of this would be possible without you the community members, so pat yourselves on the back. The club is what it is because of you. In particular, I want to thank the participants for their saint-like patience as the judging process played out. While unforeseen real-life circumstances affected the judges, match turnaround times are an area of great concern and have my highest priority in addressing going forward.

I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the ACC staff who put in the work to judge all these matches. And special recognition to our Headmistress Ciara who stepped up to the plate as a co-organizer by completing judge training and judging 7 SARLACC matches herself as well as providing support to the rest of the staff.

SARLACC Breakdown

Here is a breakdown of participation across both phases:

unitbreakdown

I’m very proud that we get representation from every unit.

matchbreakdown

This shows the overall completion rate for the competition. Every single match opened during the course of the competition is shown here. “Closed” means the end of a round hit and the match was manually closed. “Timeout” means a member timed out on a post. An 81% completion rate of matches opened is nothing to sneeze at. There’s still some room for improvement but thank you again to all the competitors for managing your time and being respectful of your opponents.

But now for the placements, the moment you’ve all been waiting for

placements

Rounding out the top ten

Placement Member Clan
1st Alaisy Arcona
2nd Lucine Arcona
3rd Sera Arcona
4th Marick Arcona
5th Aiden Arcona
6th Appius Taldryan
7th Sinya Plagueis
8th Andrelious Taldryan
9th Kamjin Scholae Palatinae
10th Aru Arcona

Our new Herald Alaisy takes the win! There was actually a three-way tie with competition scores of 110 that we had to break with match score averages and there was still a tie for second! So lesson learned on that one, add more tiebreakers. Congrats to Alaisy and the rest of the top 10!

I will have a follow-on report in the coming days with a survey link and upcoming developments in the ACC as a whole. Thank you again to everyone who participated.
