Fiction Update

If Dasha’s world wasn’t literally falling to Kasiya itself, it would have gone right then and there. It was only when the klaxons blared into her pointed ears that she remembered to take a breath. Her palms and face were sweaty, her pupils dilated, and her heart thundered like podracers on a racetrack. It was at this exact moment that she regretted coming along with Justinios. The Aleena had mentioned something about some Force forsaken artifact on the platform that was apparently important enough to leave the Sephi to her own devices the second they arrived so he could go play treasure hunter.

Introductions

Hello again, Clan Taldryan! It's been quite a busy month hasn't it? We had the Port Kasiya event, RP's end and begin, awards dished out and even a promotion! So, there's a lot to go through, so let's not waste anymore time and get right into things!

Port Kasiya Invasion Results

The Port Kasiya Invasion RP

But that's not all! This event saw our first Asynchronous RP running alongside the main event competitions. The RP helped shape the storyline and its updates, a storyline, which essentially, YOU helped develop. When we opened up the possibility for an RP chat, I had no idea how much you guys would take to it, and as you can see from the word counts below;

Event Feedback

The Taldryan summit has put together a feedback form for the event that can be taken HERE. A couple of you have answered it already, but the more feedback we have, the better we can make our events for you in the future!

The Last Command

So, that begs the question of what's next? Well, a new RP has kicked off following the issuing of the 'The Last Command!' Anyone in the Clan can take part, just jump on in if you want to!

For a recap;

• Jorm returned to Kasiya, taking over a bar and sending a text message foe everyone to chill and party.

• Dasha refuses, working on a little project of her own. What this is? Only time will tell.

• Darrio, Appius' brother, accepts Jorm's invite, and the two start drinking together.

• Teebu issues the 'Last Command' and Appius is ushered to meet him, upon doing so, the two have an intense argument about the moral implications of the order.

• Two Deathtroopers are at the bar with Jorm and Darrio, when a Duros and his gang confront the two drinking, only to be humiliated by Jorm.

• Appius makes a decision regarding the last command, agreeing to allow the citizens of Kasiya to be indoctrinated FOR NOW. he goes off to plot for another way.

• Circe infiltrates the Port Kasiya tower searching for information that's pulling her towards it. She uncovers, of all things, a holocron and a lightsaber, bringing more questions than answers.

• Teebu fights with the corruption of Vodo's ring, it's changing him, and he realises it, but can do nothing about it.

• Jorm makes an example out of a group who questionhis authorityin HIS bar.

• Appius plots to confront Teebu, recruiting Zaesti and ordering Dasha to cut the surveillance feed to the tower.

• Teebu flees with Circe, his new ally after sensing something bad will happen if they stay.

• Appius ordered Zruta Dysian to take the citizens off World. After confronting Keitel, Zruta kills him, causing anarchy amongst the Taldryan forces.

• The gangs swear loyalty to Taldryan, with Appius learning Teebu removed the brainwashing of the Last Command. The Consul races to find Dysian before the gangs learn the truth behind the original Last Command.

• Teebu and Circe get drinks at Jorm's bar.

• Teebu feels something in the Force, prompting him to confront Zruta which leads to the eventual fight between Appius and Teebu

• Jorm is recording and broadcasting the fight live!

The Great Sithmas Adventure

Our very own Ektrosis Quaestor, Teebu, is hosting a series of Sithmas themed competitions that are being hosted DJB Wide for all the Brotherhoodto enjoy!

Greetings everyone, your favorite neighborhood Ewok here.

As a special thank you for yet another amazing year, Clan Taldryan is hosting a Brotherhood-wide edition of Sithmas this year, appropriately titled The Great Sithmas Adventure!

It will have a wide range of events from short to long fiction, to puzzles and poetry, a special version of Cards Against Brotherhood, and not limited to flash games involving porgs and bats, this Sithmas Adventure has a little bit of something for everyone.

The Great Sithmas Adventure will run from December 1st until January 1st, with a total of 11 events that can be participated in with placement and participation points to be earned. So make a hot cup of blue milk, sit by the fireplace with your family and comrades whilst the heads of your enemies sit upon the mantle, and relax. Laugh. Tell stories. Then beat each other up and ascend above them all because, in the end, only one can be crowned Sithmas Claus!

Emotional blackmail? Is there no limit to how low Teebu will go to get under Appius' skin? 🤔

Stay Safe At Christmas Time

Usually I like to end my reports saying thanks for reading it all and making it this far. Maybe end on a little funny quip. However, this time, I want to take a moment to express how important it is to stay safe this winter. Especially considering the recent emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID.

This club is special. We form tight bonds with people in it and those bonds can help us get through times of crisis. Even if it's just a momentary break from reality, the one thing we all have in common is that this virus has affected us all in some way, shape, or form.

So, stay safe, and look out for one another.
