Taldryan Rollmaster Report

header

Welcome to this week’s Clan Taldryan Rollmaster report! This week, Howie tells you about the progress of the Journeymen, makes with the pestering, and spams the competitions that are out there.

First of all, congratulations are in order. Jedi Hunter Armags was promoted to Dark Jedi Knight last week, and I could not be happier! Congratulations to him!

Second, I have a competition that is running – Rollmaster Report Trivia. Go check it out! It closes next Tuesday (March 8th).

Third, I am going on vacation to Seattle, Washington for a long weekend in April. I will be gone (and mostly incommunicado) from April 17th to the morning of April 22nd. If you need some urgent Rollmastery help, please direct your questions to the Proconsul or Consul. (Or bug Tarax).

Journeymen progress

Here are some notable accomplishments of our clan's journeymen in the past two weeks:

  • Acolyte Kooks: Promoted from Apprentice, to Novice and then to Acolyte! Completed the Brotherhood Basics Shadow Academy course, and earned 57 Clusters of Fire

  • Jedi Hunter Aiden Dru: Awarded a Steel Cross! Earned 100 Clusters of Fire, and was promoted from GMRG Rank II to III.

  • Jedi Hunter Draco Sangria: Completed the ACC Fundamentals Shadow Academy course.

  • Jedi Hunter Retden: Earned a Crescent with Sapphire Star

Pesterings and Rollmasterings

I believe I can now officially say that the next Crusade type event we will have in the next coming weeks (or month or so? I am trying to get some official clarification on this) will be Antei Combat Centre based. So, for those of you that need to be qualified? Get to it!

In order to become qualified, there are two Shadow Academy courses that must be completed. The first, ACC Fundamentals, teaches you about some of the structures and procedures of the Combat Centre. The second, ACC Qualification, includes more practical questions. If you have trouble with any of these, feel free to email me or pester me on IRC (odds are, I will end up directing you to somebody that is actually good at this, but I’ll be damned if I won’t at least try and help you). Also keep in mind, the Combat Master is also the Aedile of House of Dinaari – so we have a great resource at our disposal (and that resource should routinely be taken advantage of).

I will repeat an earlier sentiment: if anyone has an idea about improving the experience for Journeymen (or the Master/Student program for Taldryan) – feel free to drop me a line or talk to me on IRC. I may not always agree with your idea (or I may agree with it but I think it is impractical/unworkable, or what have you) – but I want everyone to know that their ideas will at least be heard.

As I have said every time - for those Taldryanites that are interested in becoming masters, please email me or catch me on IRC and I will add you to the list for the future.

PS: Do all the things!
