Quick shout out to both the house and clan. The Tal Summit has managed to keep events constantly available for member activity and you guys keep showing up and participating. We are trying to keep a constant mix competitions that are easy going, hopefully fun and with chances of character/lore building. This is all light practice and an opportunity to increase your ID line flair before things start getting really heavy later in the year. (I also hear that 15 is the minimum amount of flair)

Teebu and Appius are also doing some really cool organized plot creation in the taldryan rp thread room. I encourage all to take a look. Currently I have been unable to participate but I'm enjoying the stories peeps are making and understanding their character's better.

Current Events

The Caelus System Election for the new Chancellor has ended. Our very own Jorm Na'trej has been voted in as the new Chancellor. Maybe now that our Jester is in Court we can get some more credits to fund Thanatos missions....

Though there are an impressive amount of competitions out there, I'll shine a light on a few:

Competition: Urban Exploration: Kasiya Edition - With Ektrosis finally nestled in place, they have begun to slowly mold Port Kasiya to their liking. (4 sub comps available) Competition: A Very Mandalorian Wedding - A joining of union between Ankira Irr and some undeserving guy Appius Wight in a Mandolorian wedding. Our very own Aylin Sajark is throwing the celebration for the whole DJB, but Thanatos should show up to wreck the reception. (5 sub comps available) Competition: [Shadows Unveiled] Operation SPYFALL - Events are slowly unfolding around the Children of Mortis. A spy has failed to deliver information from the planet. You are tasked to the important mission of completing the job. Possible prelude to something big.

Open Vacancy

The Shadow Academy is doing a mass hiring event with five open positions. Praetor to the Headmaster, 3 Magistrate to the Headmaster and 1 Shadow Academy: Professor openings are available. These are all great opportunities to earn some extra credits, get experience while helping the Brotherhood, or larping middle management.

House News

Aside from one of our own taking over the entire system... Aside from one of our own throwing a freaking awesome wedding party... We have some returning members. Ala'ar Rinn, Justinios Taldrya Drake and Armags C'Hiesa have joined our ranks! I'm excited to get to know Ala'ar, while Justinios and Armags both are important players in Taldryan history. If you are looking to climb the Grand Master's Royal Guard ranks or just earn some clusters, hit those two (and myself) up.

Growing Elysia

My favorite Aedile, Tracinya Beviin Entar, has designed something pretty cool. The new Caelus Internal Operations Unit.

Bio: The Caelus Internal Operations Unit, IOU for short, are a special forces element of the Taldryan Army who specialise in Counter-Insurgency and Counter-Terrorism operations within the boundaries of the Caelus System.

Founded in 40 ABY as a result of the Invasion of Port Kasiya, and the actions of rogue Chancellor Ky'lain on Elysia, the unit often works alongside planetary law enforcement agencies to respond to high-risk incidents that pose a severe risk to the stability of the local governments. The subterranean levels beneath the newly-constructed Internal Affairs Office in Tartarus on Elysia are rumored to serve as the primary headquarters of the unit. 

The IOU is split into three sections stationed in different key areas of the Caelus System, to allow it more time to respond when called to duty. Team Xesh is based on Elysia, with Team Osk on Orth and Team Dorn occupying a floor in the KPP Tower on Kasiya.
