Greetings Mortis!

Not a huge report this time, but there's definitely some good stuff in it. As always, I'd like to make sure everyone knows that my office is always open. If you need anything please don't hesitate to email or hit Geosh or me up on Telegram and let us know what we can do to help you out. Remember our "see something, say something" policy: if you see anyone doing something great and you think they should be recognized for it, please let us know. It will help out a lot for us to catch things for promotion/award recs that the website doesn't track and that leadership may never be aware of otherwise. Even stuff like helping to proofread fiction or giving out tips for gaming definitely counts.

New Deathsworn BTL

I'd like to begin by introducing Thanadd Mawgath as the new BTL of the Deathsworn! He had a very solid application and has been very active lately. I think he'll make a great BTL for Bloodfyre's disciples. Congratulations, Mawgath!

Ranarr Stepping Down

Our Clan's Rollmaster has stepped down due to RL commitments, and we are in the process of interviewing for a new one now. We have some great applicants for the position. I think we should know who's next pretty soon now.

Tarentum ACC Guide

I know a lot of you yearn for the good old days of necromancy in Tarentum. We still can't exactly raise legions of undead soldiers but there are some ways we can make use of our horror aesthetic and bring a uniquely Tarentum flavor when we participate in the ACC. I have been asked to work on a Tarentum-specific ACC guide to help our members do just that when they bring it in the ACC, and I'd like to ask for your help. If you have any ideas or thoughts about how a Tarenti can really make their ACC battle pop I'd love to hear your suggestions. Any input is welcome!

Fiction Update

District Six.

A carrion stench lingered on the wind, pushing at his wrinkles and furrows. It threatened to worm its way into his pores, saturating his skin. It wanted to taint his anima and transform him into one of them -

Poor. Disheveled. Weak. Unworthy.

The wretched souls eking out an existence here were the sycophants and grime-lords of the slums. They were pretenders to power, sniveling vassals and levers for the Clan’s benefit. He would not so much as grant them the opportunity to kneel.

Not today.

Refuse circled dilapidated lampposts like nervous tumbleweeds, and he yearned to escape the yoke of such dross. He heard the familiar hum and watched his communicator blink to life. Inspecting the screen, he frowned, dropping the weight of his massive boot on the accelerator.

His great-cloak cracked and whorled, its length twisted by an ominous gale which penetrated the colorless landscape. As the Starhawk carried Thanadd Mawgath out of District VI, he was relieved.

Thanadd Mawgath was the winner of the Kadne's Escape competition, which means his entry became the next chapter in our House fiction. It's a great story and well worth a read. Keep an eye out for the competition for the next chapter when it comes out!
