This Ain't The Last Goodbye

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed working with you scruffy lot.

It was sad to have to deal with this closure, but watching everyone slowly start to find their new beginnings makes me excited. I'm excited for all of you, and I am excited for me and the road will I take from here.

We of Tarentum are and shall ever be the Clan of Life and Death. We know that Life and Death aren't a spectrum, they're a continuity. One leads to the other, again and again in a great cosmic spiral. A corpse in a barren field can lead to the growth of a lush green valley. Death fuels life.

The death of Tarentum will fuel the life of the Brotherhood. Every Clan is or will be receiving our expatriates. This movement, this newness, this infusion, will set every Clan aflame. We of all should know that Death does not mean the absolute end. Nothing ever ends, when we think something has died it just means that the nature of that thing has changed. We might not be a "Clan," anymore per say, we will undoubtedly lack Clan possessions for that reason. Tarentum might not be on our dossiers anymore. There probably won't be anymore midnight rap battles. But the idea of Tarentum lives on.

Each and every person that has passed through the hallowed halls of Castle Tarentum and moved on carries a piece of this Clan with them, including Grand Master Pravus. But we few, the Clans final legacy, the plank holders of the good ship Yridia; we carry a greater portion of Tarentum in our hearts. Those of us who represent the last of Tarentum will personify the Clans highest ideals wherever we go in the Brotherhood. Our every success will honor the memory of Tarentum.
