Events were taking place now, like giant gears in an ancient machine beginning to turn slowly after many years of disuse. Tarentum's alliance with Arcona seemed tenuous for the first time as the Clan clamored for revenge against Wuntila. The alliance with Plagueis had been activated for the first time that Scion could remember. War seemed inevitable.

Hades' tiny blue figure finally appeared on the desk in the Quaestor's office, broadcasting across a secure subspace channel from the Sword's Sheath. Scion wasted no words with his closest friend, knowing exactly what was going through the old pilot's mind.

"Mortis will go where you go," he said. "We have begun preparations for war."

"Thank you, Scion."

"You will have your revenge," the old Quaestor promised. "We all will."

New Aedile Selected!

I would like to formally welcome Geosh as Mortis' new Aedile. He's going to be helping me stay in closer touch with each member of House Mortis, and will be running regular gaming competitions once Aftermath is over. I'm looking forward to teaching him the ropes of House leadership.

Quaestor's Corner

It's all Aftermath, all the time folks! There are tons of great events but a lot of them are only one week long so it's important to get in there and get it done fast. I've heard from Frosty that he's going to push for more gaming events in weeks 3 and 4, which I know will come as welcome news to some of you.

These big events are important for Tarentum because the Clan's success is measured largely by participation, awards and promotions. They're important to you because they tend to award bigger crescents and there's a lot more opportunity to get your name out to the whole Brotherhood than with normal competitions. In most cases these big competitions are tied into the large scale Dark Brotherhood fiction too, so can be a way to get your character written into the club's history!

Geosh sent out a short survey about the Aftermath event recently. It's very important for us to get feedback so we can work to improve our future events, so please do take a few minutes to fill it out. Even without a survey please feel free to get in touch with Geosh, me or any other member of the House or Clan Summits at any time with comments or suggestions. This club survives on the input and collaboration of everyone in it.
